YUWANA POV:

"Why not? I'll have good company," Alorn said, looking at me.

I could only listen to his voice. It was the second time I had heard it, and it felt pleasant. Nisila was delighted to hear his response, and her smile grew wider.

She planned our meeting time, and she seemed more excited than both of us. We decided to meet at 10:15 and walk to school.

I used to take the bus, but I also disliked traveling in the crowded bus, so I agreed to walk.

"Do you have any problem with that, Yuwana?" Nisila asked me.

"It's okay for me," I replied.

She started talking about the weather. It was winter, and the surroundings were colder than usual. She told me about her favorite novels and songs.

She teased Alorn for finding novels boring due to their typical love stories, and he got angry at her. They playfully argued with each other, and I enjoyed their banter as it reminded me of my sister and me.

While they were teasing each other, we reached the point where we had to separate. I said goodbye, and both of them looked at me.

They also bid farewell, and I headed back home. My mom was at a friend's house, and my sister was in the living room watching TV. I went to my room, changed my clothes, and went to the kitchen to have some juice.

After getting my juice and a slice of cake, I went to the living room. My sister was watching a cooking channel, and the chef was making cupcakes.

The cupcakes looked so delicious that I ended up eating my chocolate cake while imagining their taste. After finishing, I returned to my room and sat at my study table.

I recalled my earlier encounter with him, replaying all his actions in my mind like a recurring telecast. I wanted to go with him, but at the same time, I didn't want to. My thoughts were scattered, so I cleared my mind and started working on my physics assignment.

My mom called me for dinner, and after finishing my meal and washing the dishes, I went back to the living room.A TV serial was playing, where the heroine was reminiscing about the hero and didn't notice the heat of the utensil.

Her hand got burned, but she continued smiling. Love makes people oblivious to their surroundings, and though I hadn't experienced it, I didn't think it was a good thing. Feeling drowsy, I went to my room.

As I sat on the bed, I contemplated. I didn't want to face him tomorrow. I didn't know what would happen, but I knew it would give me a strange feeling. I couldn't sleep well as I kept recalling his voice.

His voice was hoarse, but it sounded sweet to me. After a long time, I eventually fell asleep.

The sound of my sister yawning woke me up, and I asked her to stop. I went to the bathroom and took a shower.

After changing into my clothes, I went downstairs and was greeted by my cousin, who was like a brother to me.

He was one year older than me and had just passed his board exams. He gave me a sweet, and I congratulated him.I went to the kitchen and had my breakfast.

Two hours passed as I chatted with my cousin, and then I went to my room to put on my uniform. I packed my bag and went downstairs.

I put on my shoes and bid farewell to them. I had informed my mom that I would be walking to school from now on. Initially, she had objected, but after telling her about Alorn, she agreed.

I checked my watch and saw that there were only two minutes left until 10:15. I walked quickly towards his house and saw him looking in my direction.
