YUWANA POV:

After having breakfast, my dad and I went to the office. I left Yuron with my mom, and they planned to go to the mall after lunch. I don't have much experience, but my dad has trusted me with responsibilities. I don't know what I did to deserve such a loving and supportive family. They have stood by me in every decision I've made and have shown equal love to me and my son. Initially, I thought they wouldn't accept my pregnancy, but my dad supported me. My mom initially wanted me to have an abortion, but my dad argued with her and convinced us to move here.

My sister also supported me and was willing to leave her studies to come here and take care of me and my child. Some of my relatives weren't happy about me keeping the child, as they believed no one would marry me. But I told them I was happy with my child, and eventually, they came around and blessed us. I haven't kept in touch with my old friends and simply said goodbye when I left.

Troy has been a good friend of mine, and he expressed a desire to marry me. However, I didn't want to get married just for the sake of my baby, so I declined his proposal. He deserves a nice girl, not someone who is already a mother. I don't feel sad about being a mother, though; I cherish every moment I spend with my baby. He makes me feel special, just like his father. How could I forget his father?

I went to the office, which is not new to me as my dad is the owner, but he insisted that I have it. Being stubborn, he promised to take over once he retires. He officially handed over the title to me, but he's still working in the office. I underwent six months of training for the position, and I've been performing well. Our company is making profits, and things are going smoothly.

I attended to some paperwork and then proceeded to a meeting. As the CEO, I have a lot of responsibilities to manage, and I can't neglect my work. The meeting lasted for two hours, and we managed to secure a good deal. I appreciated the hard work of my employees and encouraged them. My secretary, Ethan, is a year younger than me, and he has a great sense of humor. He often cracks jokes about the other dealers, but he is efficient and professional during working hours. He knows how to cheer me up when I'm feeling down.

I called my mom to ask about Yuron. He had stayed up late the previous night and wasn't awake for breakfast. I simply kissed him and left for the office. Normally, he would wake up early and be full of energy. But due to the late-night party, he might have felt tired and slept in, so I didn't wake him up.

"Mom, is Yuron awake and has he had his breakfast? How is he doing?"

"Yes, he's already had breakfast, and we're going shopping," my mom replied.

"Okay, tell him I love him and take care."

"I will. Have your lunch. Bye." The call ended, and Ethan brought me my lunch.

I had a restless night's sleep because I ran into Nisila, my sister, yesterday. She was happy to see me and asked about my sudden disappearance seven years ago. Luckily, she didn't see Yuron and asked to meet again. I told her that my father wanted us to settle here, and in the rush, I couldn't say goodbye. She is still beautiful and kind-hearted. She's a doctor and lives here with her husband. She didn't pry too much about my life and congratulated me on my progress. She didn't mention Alorn, and I was grateful for that.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't realize that Troy was trying to say something to me. Troy and I are business partners, and we hang out when we have free time. Yesterday, Uncle Grayn asked me to be his son's daughter-in-law, but I declined the proposal. He was initially hurt, but then he brushed it off and made a joke. He's a nice person, but I don't understand why he sees something in me for his son. I am a single mother and not conventionally beautiful, yet he keeps proposing. It makes me sad, but I remain firm in my decision. I don't want to be with someone else when my heart belongs to someone else.

"Yuw, did you have the meeting with Mr. Kein?" Troy asked.

"Yes, and he agreed to the terms," I replied.

"That's good. We can start the project then."

"Yes, but Dad will handle it. We have another client meeting tomorrow."

"The meeting is scheduled after lunch, so we can have lunch together. Dad has invited Yuron and you for dinner. I hope you don't mind," Troy said, sounding a bit uneasy.

"It would be my pleasure." We continued chatting about other things, and then his phone rang. He answered the call, and seeing the caller's name made my heart race with anxiety.

"Yeah, Mr. Pemen, we're looking forward to it."
