YUWANA POV:

Today is a momentous day for my sister Ania, and she is brimming with excitement. It's Ania's engagement to Ornald, her partner of six years. They have been a wonderful and mature couple. Yuron, my nephew, adores Ornald, and they share a strong bond. Ornald is like a brother to me, always caring for and helping me. His parents are also kind, and we have a close relationship. We often go on vacations together and enjoy each other's company. Ania is a talented designer, while Ornald is an engineer. They wanted to officially announce their commitment, which is why they are having an engagement ceremony.

As I descended the stairs, I spotted Yuron playing with his dog. I took him to the bathroom and gave him a bath, dressing him in a black suit with a white shirt and bowtie. He looked incredibly handsome, so I couldn't resist capturing some photos of him. Occasionally, he posed like a little old man, and his smile made him even more charming.

Before heading to my room to get ready, I reminded Yuron not to dirty his clothes and to play with his dog instead. In my room, I took a bath and put on my dress. Then I went to Ania's room to do my makeup. There she was, talking on the phone and playing with her hair. Her smile indicated that she was speaking to Ornald. I sat at the dressing table while the beautician applied my makeup. I opted for a natural look with red lipstick. I wore a light pink gown that complemented my makeup, and the side bun added an attractive touch.

My mom was already ready, and my dad called her over to help him with his tie. They were the best couple, and even with a long-distance relationship, they had a strong bond. Sometimes I felt envious of them, as I knew my life wouldn't be the same. I didn't have someone to love me in that way. It was my own fault for missing out on that opportunity, but I considered myself fortunate to have my son, who loves me dearly.

Yuron came running toward me, holding a chocolate in his hand. His wide grin indicated that someone special had arrived, and I greeted him warmly with a hug, kissing his forehead before setting him down. Then Troy, my good friend, greeted me with a friendly hug. He looked handsome in his suit, and our outfits were quite similar. Troy greeted my parents, congratulated Ania, and admired how beautiful she looked in her blue gown and waterfall hairstyle.

Thirty minutes later, we reached the venue and were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Denelt. Mrs. Denelt hugged me and gave me a compliment. The ceremony was about to begin, and guests started arriving. Almost all of our relatives were present, and some expressed sympathy towards me, which I didn't appreciate. I was content with my son and didn't need another man's support when I could provide for him myself. We loved each other, and that was enough.

Yuron was delighted to meet his friend Arin, Ornald's sister's daughter, who was an adorable girl. Troy and I were busy greeting the elders, while Ania was engrossed in conversation with her love. The ceremony took place, and we took many photos to commemorate the occasion. After congratulating the couple, the party began. Troy and I danced together as a couple, which seemed to confuse some people. Although we were well-suited for each other, I didn't want our relationship to progress beyond friendship.

I realized I couldn't find Yuron, so I went searching for him. As I approached the poolside, I saw Yuron crying while a girl tried to console him. My heart sank at the sight of his tears, and I quickly went to his side. He embraced me, and I gently wiped away his tears. Yuron was not the type to cry easily, so I worried about what could have upset him.

"Baby, why are you crying? You're strong, so don't cry," I comforted him.

"Mom, the big boy hit me," he replied with a soft voice.

"Why? Did you do something wrong?"

"Nope, he was eating ice cream, and when he asked for mine, I refused, so he hit me," Yuron explained, interrupted by another voice.

"It's okay, we can get another ice cream, and they will be punished," I assured him.

"Yeah, mom... they're bad," he said, wiping away his tears.

"No need, they've already been punished. Come here," Troy called out to him.

Troy took Yuron inside, and I followed along with the girl who had tried to comfort him. I expressed my gratitude to her, and Mrs. Denelt guided me to meet the guests. I met many ladies and exchanged greetings. Later, Mrs. Denelt introduced me to a lady who turned out to be Nisila, Alorn's sister.
