YUWANA POV:

The feeling of being hurt is what I am experiencing right now. His words pierced my heart, which had previously created a sensation of happiness. The memory continues to replay in my mind countless times.

It has been nearly a month since our college finished, and I haven't spoken to him. He seems to be busy with his friends and enjoying the holiday, while I am enjoying my time by watching K-dramas and staying at home. I received a message from Nisila, asking me to meet her at her home.

I have visited her place twice before, and her uncle and aunt are friendly and nice. They treat me well and enjoy my company. At 4 pm in the afternoon, I went to her house and was greeted by Keith, who has also been a close friend of mine. We exchanged greetings, and he led me to the backyard.

There, I saw Alorn placing balloons on the tables and transforming the backyard into a beautiful space with lights and flowers. As I watched him, he caught me staring at him. He looked at me and then his gaze shifted to my hand, which was held by Keith.

Feeling a sense of discomfort, I let go of Keith's hand, and I noticed Alorn's happiness. We all worked together and finished the decorations. It was a surprise anniversary party for Nisila's uncle and aunt, with close family and friends in attendance. We celebrated the occasion, and the couple expressed their gratitude and happiness for the surprise.

I noticed a guy staring at me, which made me feel uneasy. He had greeted me earlier and seemed happy to see me. Now, as I stood alone, gazing at the sky and enjoying the beautiful scenery, someone cleared their throat. I turned and recognized the same guy from earlier, holding a glass in his hand.

"Enjoying the view here?" he said, taking a seat beside me. I responded, "Hmm... and you?" He replied, "I couldn't resist the beauty around me, so I felt compelled to come over. You know, you look even more beautiful when you smile. I..." Before he could continue, Alorn interrupted, saying that he was being called by his mom. He excused himself, and his expression towards Alorn seemed unpleasant.

Unsure of what had changed his mood, I suggested leaving for home. He agreed to accompany me, and I bid farewell to everyone before walking alongside Alorn. For a few minutes, we walked in silence, and then Alorn asked me a seemingly trivial question, "Is something going on between Mike and you?" Confusion was evident in my voice as I asked, "Mike?" Alorn clarified, "Yeah, the guy you were talking to earlier. You don't even know his name." I responded, "No, how could I when you interrupted us?" He gave a sly smile and said, "Well, that's good then." When I asked why, he didn't provide an answer.

"Is there anyone special in your life?" Alorn suddenly asked. I shook my head in the negative. He stopped walking, and as I turned around, I saw him smiling. "Alorn, what's going on?" I inquired. He paused, locking his gaze with mine, and then he proceeded, "Yuwana, I have wanted to tell you something from the beginning, and now I will say it. I love you, Yuwana, to the moon and back. I always think about you, and you are the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me." His words filled with pure adoration caught me off guard. It was what I had longed to hear when I was near him, and now it made me feel like I was on cloud nine.

His confession made me the happiest woman in the world, and my heart raced with increasing speed. I couldn't take my eyes off him, and we became lost in our own world. Our moment was interrupted by my mom calling me, and I couldn't bring myself to confess to him.

That was a wonderful moment that is still fresh in my mind, but it was soon overshadowed by the storm that arrived the next day.

He confessed but she couldn't. How miserable?😭
