ALORN POV:

The following day, I went to visit Yuwana at the hospital, but when I entered the room, I was surprised to find two other people there. Unaware of their presence, as I had asked the nurse if Yuwana was awake, I walked in.

To my surprise, Troy was there, feeding soup to Yuwana. I felt awkward when he mistook me for a nurse, but he quickly apologized upon realizing his mistake and motioned for me to sit on the sofa.

Yuwana's gaze met mine, and she looked as beautiful as ever. Her eyes held so much affection that I wanted to immerse myself in them. "I'm not going anywhere, so you should focus on your soup," I teased. She simply looked away, fixing her gaze on the walls.

Then, a voice could be heard from inside, possibly from the washroom, calling out "mom." Yuron came running towards Yuwana, showing her his pocket. "Mom, my gems are finished, and I want more." "No, Yuron, you have enough. Let's just eat some fruits," she replied. But Yuron winced, and Troy volunteered to take him away.

Troy handed me the soup to feed Yuwana and left the room. I sat beside her bed and began feeding her the soup. My gaze remained fixed on her, making her visibly uncomfortable. After she finished the soup, I made her comfortable on the bed and held her hand.

"How are you, Yuwana? You really worried me when you ran away, and I'm sorry for my words. I just couldn't control myself. I..." I said, gently caressing her hand. She looked at our joined hands and responded, "I'm fine, and I'm also sorry." After a few moments of silence, I spoke again. "Yuwana, don't you miss me? When I heard that you had left me, I was devastated. I searched everywhere and asked your friends, but no one had any answers. You have no idea how much I missed being with you. I isolated myself from everyone, and it hurt them, but I couldn't do anything. I visited the places we used to go to, and I dreamt of you leaving me. I had countless sleepless nights, and my mom's health worsened seeing my condition. I was so selfish that I hurt her so much, but I was consumed by thoughts of you. To numb the pain, I threw myself into my career and distanced myself from my family. Keith has been a good friend, and he helped me get through it." I poured out my inner feelings, and tears started streaming down her face.

"I'm sorry, Alorn, for leaving you, but I had my reasons. I couldn't cope with my own problems, so I ran away like a coward. I should have waited or confided in you, but I ran away from myself. I feel like I'm no longer the same person, and I'm ashamed to face you, Alorn. At that time, it was incredibly difficult for me because I had always envisioned a happy life, but it ended up in a terrible way. I'm sorry, Alorn, sorry..." She cried out loud, and I held her tightly in my arms.

I gave her time to release her sadness and gently stroked her hair. When she calmed down, I wiped away her tears and kissed her forehead. Then, I cupped her face and looked into her eyes. "I'm also at fault. I should have come to you, but I just couldn't..." she tried to apologize, but I placed a finger on her lips and spoke. "No need to say sorry, Yuwana. I'm in no position to forgive you, and we both made mistakes. Let's start a new phase. I've longed to see you again for so long, and it's time for us to be together. Shall we?" She hugged me tightly, and I reciprocated the embrace.

"Mom, Ania won't give me my gems," Yuron said, running towards us, causing us to separate from our hug. "Yuw, Yuron has enough..." Ania said as she followed him, stopping in her tracks upon seeing us. "Oh, sorry to disturb you guys. I'll leave so you can continue your conversation," she said, glancing between Yuwana and me. "No, we've already talked, and Yuron, pack your bags, we're going on a holiday." When I said that, Yuron became overjoyed, jumping around. "What?" Yuwana exclaimed, looking shocked. Oh, my poor girl, but she looked beautiful in that hospital gown. Argh, what am I thinking?

I hugged Yuron and said my goodbyes. As I left, I overheard Ania questioning Yuwana, and I noticed a boy heading towards her room, which made me wonder who on earth he could be.
