YUWANA POV:

Yuron is growing up, and it makes me both happy and sad. He's becoming less mischievous and more obedient, but he hasn't asked me about his father. Instead, he asked my mom, who couldn't give him an answer because I haven't told them yet.

Initially, my mom tried her best to inquire about his father, but I would always break down whenever she brought it up. Eventually, she stopped asking me and reassured Yuron that he will meet his father when the time is right. She also advised him not to ask me about it, and it actually brought me some relief.

Yuron has started going to school, and his teachers are pleased with his performance. I hear nothing but good things about him, and they describe him as adorable. However, a knock on the door brings me back to reality, and I invite the person in.

Ethan enters with a file and asks me to review the papers. I start reading through them and am about to sign when my phone rings. It's an unknown number.

"Hello! Who is this?" I answer.

"Hello! It's me, Nisila. How are you?" a sweet voice responds.

"Oh... I'm fine. How about you?" I reply.

"I'm good, and I wanted to invite you to today's party. Please don't say no," she pleads.

"Um... I'll need to check my schedule," I tell her, still reviewing the papers.

"No, Yuwana, you have to come. It's my mom's birthday, and she really wants to meet you. So, I won't take no for an answer, and I'll send you the address," she insists, and before I can decline, she hangs up.

"Seems like she's a stubborn girl. Poor you," Ethan remarks, teasingly.

I glare at him and ask him to check my schedule. There are no meetings, so I message Ania to stay with Yuron. She replies that she'll stay, and I prepare myself for the onslaught of questions.

I wear a simple knee-length floral dress and black heels. I apply some pink lipstick and grab the gift. I call Ania and ask her to put Yuron to bed as I'll be late, then I drive to the address Nisila sent.

It takes me 49 minutes to reach the location, and I find a mansion adorned with lights. A few cars are parked, and people are entering. I park my car and make my way inside. On the way, I accidentally bump into someone, but fortunately, they prevent me from falling on my backside.

The person turns out to be Alorn. He's wearing a black suit and looks incredibly handsome. He has his phone in one hand and held onto me with the other. I break the contact and excuse myself to go inside.

I am greeted by uncle and aunt, and I wish aunt a happy birthday while handing her the gift. They express their disappointment that I left without saying goodbye and tell me how much they miss me. I explain that my parents had to move suddenly, and I couldn't bid them farewell.

"The party seems boring without me," a voice interrupts our conversation, and we all turn to see Keith approaching us. He's accompanied by a beautiful girl.

Nisila introduces her as Keith's fiancée, a model. She greets me and gives me a hug. We engage in a lively conversation, and then a question is asked that surprises everyone.

"Yuwana, where is your son? Oh, Yuron," Keith inquires.

"Son..." Uncle, aunt, and Nisila ask simultaneously.

"Um... he's at home with my sister," I reply, feeling nervous.

"When did you get married? And when were you planning on telling us?" Aunt asks me.

"Um..." I begin to respond, but my answer is interrupted.

"Mom, come and cut the cake. We're running late," Alorn interjects.

With that, we all join in the celebration, but I can't help but notice that Alorn's gaze continues to linger on me, making me feel miserable.
