~♥Chapter 4♥~

I opened my eyes to see a grinning face right above me. And I did what normal people would do; I screamed.

My head banged with the person’s forehead as I sat up. The person screamed back. The voice seemed familiar.

“Seth!” I yelled at him.

“November!” he yelled back.

We stared at each other for a moment then I screamed with the same pitch as before, “You idiot!” I rubbed my forehead where it had hit his'.

Before he could say anything, the door burst open and I saw sight of Nash with bed hair and a long knife in his hand. “What the–”

I cut him off with another piercing scream, horrified at the long weapon in his hand. Seth screamed with me.

Technically, I woke competing in a screaming match.

“Where’s the fucking murderer?!” Jace roared, walking in next with a spoon in his hand, Flora and Jess running in behind him. I sighed loudly. “What is going on here?” Jess asked tiredly.

“This idiot here,” I pointed at Seth, “decided it was a good idea to gawk at my face while I was sleeping.”

Jace looked at him incredulously. “Man, that’s creepy.”

I rolled my eyes. It was beyond creepy.

“I was trying to wake her up,” Seth protested.

“Yeah, by telepathy,” Nash said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. He still had the long knife clutched in his hand.

“Why do you have that with you?” I questioned, pointing to the deadly weapon.

He shrugged and lifted it like he was about to throw it at me. “I was cooking.” I backed up a little on my bed.

Then I looked at Jace’s hand which held the spoon. He followed my gaze. “I was eating,” the boy said innocently. I sighed again, pinching the bridge of my nose. I already felt a headache coming.

“Get out of my room and let me sleep,” I said before going to lie back on the bed. A pair of hands stopped me.

“Oh no, you’re not going back to sleep,” Seth said. “We have to go to the university. It’s out first day and we don’t want to be late!” he sang the last part.

I groaned. I didn’t go to sleep before 2 AM last night because Logan and I were texting each other. I noted it was 6AM at the time. All I wanted was to continue my slumber. But one look at Seth and I knew it wasn’t going to happen. I climbed off the bed and kicked everyone out. “And I thought they were the lazy ones,” I muttered to myself.

After doing my morning tasks, I went down and entered the kitchen. Seeing everyone sitting on the island relieved me that they hadn’t left and were still eating. And then I saw Nash, standing near the counter still in his bed hair. He had an apron tied around him that had little smiley on them; opposed to his current personality. I bit my lip to stop myself form smiling. The sight was so cute.

He glanced at me for a second then continued flipping the pancakes. I took a seat on the island beside Jess. At the same time Jace got up. “We’re leaving,” he informed me. “Eat and come as soon as possible. The classes start at 8.”

I nodded and bid everyone goodbye. We had decided that I will be riding with Nash again. Apparently, they wanted me to be killed in a road accident. When they left, I could feel Nash’s presence behind me. I twisted around and asked, “Need some help?”
