We stood like that for a while. Just the two of us listening the ocean and looking at the stars. It was fine.Everything was fine. I forgot about all those years I forgot what happened to mum. The important thing was that he is here. My dad was finally here.
I told him about everything that happened although he already knew most of it. I told him about my missions and about Michael Potts and his plan.
„Yea I never liked that guy.He was always nosy and always wanted to know things that were going on in the company.“ He said.
„Well I guess he got what he always wanted.“
„What do you mean?“
„Well he's the CEO of the company.“ I said.Didn't he knew that?
„What?!?! H-how? Wh-when? Whyyyyyy?“ he asked he sounded like a child that didn't get a toy that he wanted.
„Well as I said before since mum died and he was the closest relative to take over the company.“
„Rhodey?“

„He went to Cuba ten years ago.“

„Yea a robot that was waking you up in the morning. That doesn't just deserve a company it deserves a Nobel Prize.“
„Shut up.“ I said and smack his head. „Besides the world didn't explode so I think I have him under control.“
„I know.“ He said while putting his arm around my shoulder and kissing my head. „Just don't want our name on any weapons anymore.“
„Yeaaaa… about thaaat…“ I tried to find a way of saying it in the least hurtful way. He turned his head to me in shock.
„He didn't…“
„Ummmm…“
„Oh no...
„Yep, Potts industries.“

We were there for a few more hours and then we decided to go home. I decided to sleep in my apartment only tonight and then move to our old house in Malibu.
The next day while I was packing everything I heard my doorbell. I opened it and it was Steve. I smiled. „Hey.“ I said. He smiled too but I could see that he doesn't know how to act because of everything that had happened. „Come on in.“
He enter the living room. „You're packing? Umm… Tony told me that you guys made up.“ He was nervous I could see it but I didn't say anything. I mean hey how often do you get a chance to se Captain America apologising. „Look I just wanted to apologise. I should have told you about your dad. I wanted to I swear. It's just that Fury said it's better that you don't know and… I'm sorry.“
After a few moments of silence I said „It's fine Steve. You guys had a reason, although it's a stupid one but it's okay. I'm glad that I found out in the end.“
„So we're good? He asked relaxing for a little bit.
„Of course we're good Dorito. But now help me with these boxes.“ And with that everything was fine again. For now. I wish I knew then what I know now. But I didn't. And past is something you can't fix no matter how much you try.
