I woke up to 10k's arms wrapped around my waist I slowly looked up to see him looking down towards me since I was using his chest / shoulder as a pillow he sent me a cute smile
" s-ss- sorry I stuttered nervously trying to carefully get up only to be stopped by his grip tightening
" no please stay he said groggily
" fine 5 more minutes I said snuggling back up with him under the blanket
I could hear his heart beat and his calm breathing it was surprisingly relaxing so I closed my eyes wrapping my arms around his chest as much as I could
" aawww their so cute Abby shouted making me shoot up and do a back flip off the couch knife ready
" Jesus Abby don't scare some one like that in the zombie apocalypse I groggily snapped
" sorry she giggled while everyone looked shocked I just did a back flip before Warren came in saying it was time to go
" to answer your question I was in cheer leading and gymnastics I said while grabbing my bag

while me , 10k and Warren where in their smaller truck
Me and 10k sat in the bed of the groups smaller black truck he then pulled out the camera from yesterday and faced it towards us and snapped two pictures handing me one while sticking the other in his pocket
Before standing up while I laid on my back
" 10 do you ever wonder what you'd be doing if there wasn't any Z's I asked looking up at the clouds
" no not really but .. He was suddenly thrown on top of me when Warren hit the brakes causing him to fall down on top of me

I opened my eyes to see Raven under me my forearms on each side of her head looking shocked with a faint blush on her cheeks
" S-s-ssorry I stuttered trying to get up suddenly Warren hit the gas causing me to shoot forward
" uu-mm 10 Raven stuttered as she was leveled with my lower Abbs by my groin
I quickly crawled back and off her soon followed by her
she looked up ahead of us and froze when she saw a Z sitting by the road

I quickly jumped off the truck doing a army roll before standing up sprinting to the boy
" no Jacob no , no Jacob no , no this can't be I yelled crying as I was getting closer
" Jacob , Jacob , please no Jacob I yelled crying even harder as I fell to my knees in front of what I thought was a Z

" Raven Jacobs shaky voice asked in disbelief
" its me Jacob its me I said placing my shaking hands on his cheeks as my tears fell faster

As we got closer to Raven who was holding the Z's head in her hands talking to it but it wasn't trying to eat her it looked as if it was talking back to her
" I can't believe she just freaking jumped out of a moving truck and army rolled Doc yelled out of the window of Raven's truck
I aimed at the Z named Jacob from what I heard her yelling I'm assuming she knows the Z that once was a kid
I shot at it but I missed I couldn't believe it I never miss but I did I missed the Z that was now attaching her wrapping his arms around her
" what the hell 10 she yelled as we came to a stop next to her
" Jacob are you OK she asked turning towards the apparently still living kid

" I didn't mean it I thought he was a z i was trying to save you 10k said incently
" Raven I-I'm not gonna make it don't let me turn into in of those things Jacob managed to say inbetween coughs
" no , no Jacob your going to be find we have the man with the cure in his blood well close enough I said softly as my tears hit his dirty skin
" Raven my pocket Jacob said before he passed out
" Jacob , Jacob , no come back to me I yelled crying as the group start surrounding us
Warren raised her gun and aimed at him but I threw myself in the way glaring at her
" no I have to I growled while I was still crying
I stood up taking my rifle In my slightly shaking hands I inhaled deeply before saying
" Jacob Black I give you Mercy I set you free
Then I pulled the trigger
Bang
" I love you I whispered before leaving towards the trucks
I went to my truck and grabbed a blanket before I started wrapping my younger cousin's body up I found a piece of folded paper in his pocket

If your reading this then I'm the last one of our family and apparently you either found me before I died or I'm one of them

I couldn't believe he was her cousin I felt so bad for her she had to Mercy another family member
She laid his now wrapped body under a oak tree leaving a black ribbon on his wrist
As she started heading to the truck bed I quickly climbed in after her
The group was quite in respect for Raven's lost family she sat in the bed her tear stained face was making my heart break
" I'm so sorry Raven I said pulling her into a hug she quickly hugged me back crying into my chest
As night fell Raven's crying stopped I slowly stroked her hair showing her I would always be here for her
I gently kissed her head before bringing her closer as we both fell asleep in each other arms
