Dracula flew through the open window to his home. He had been still searching for a suitor for Lydia.

   "Anything dear?"

"Not so much as a nibble. This is getting pointless."

They looked up hearing their old piano playing in their cellar. Little Mavis was down there with her aunt, enjoying the tune she played.

"I was fine when I spent
Days scaring hours on end.
I was fine cause I knew,
I had everything I needed
And wasn't blue.
What's happening to me?
To me?
What's happening to me?
To me?
I live, and I hunt, and I scare
But not satisfied
What's happening to me?
Why cant I fly~?"

Mavis swayed cutely humming along. It was odd to her this song, of course her aunty could fly. Oh well it must've been one of those things daddy said she'd get when she grew.

Meanwhile upstairs, Martha hummed writing the song down in her diary. It was both sad and beautiful at once.

As upset as she was, she was still proud of Lydia for opening up so much. She'd Have to do her best to match her now.

That night the sisters walked along the unfinished bridge of the castle Dracula was building. It was quite a piece of work, a castle fit for the royal family.

"I told you sister...there was no point in searching."

Lydia said dully leaning on a lamp post.

"Lydy please don't give in, you just need more time."

"More time to what? Boil in the recesses of my own loneliness? No. I refuse to hope for an impossibility any more."

Little did the sisters know something was flying towards them in the night. It was unlike any monster they've seen before. A vampire yes, but it was Not a male.

She was much smaller then most and very exhausted from a previous fight. She flinched at her ripped wing.

"Ow ow ow! Mayday going down!"

It was at this moment Lydia stood facing the edge of the bridge. Simply over looking the ravine, Martha was about to lay a hand on her shoulder before Lydia suddenly slid back.

    "What in father's name?!"

    "Lydia are you ok?"

Martha stood up having been knocked over . She saw a small bat on the ground.

    "Oh dear."

She kneeled to check on it as Lydia growled.

"Please tell me it is a rogue vampire so I can punish it!"

Martha's eyes glowed making the bat show it's true form. Lydia froze .

  They couldn't help but stare

They couldn't help but stare. She had bright white hair and wore all black clothing. If they had to describe her they'd have said she resembled an Undertaker.

Martha side glances at Lydia. She noticed for once in her life her fearless sister looked stunned And nervous.
