Lea wiggled in her seat. I could tell she was uncomfortable. Her cheeks were red and she was playing with her hands in her lap.
"Look Nathan". She begins. "Look, I know you dating Kendall and all". I tell her. "I am not dating Kendall". She says through clenched teeth. I laugh. "What's so funny". She asks. "I know you don't like Kendall, Lacy. You're dating Aaron. The whole school knows that". I tighten my grip on the steering wheel and clench my jaw. "Not anymore". Lacy said. I looked surprised and sad but deep down inside, I was absolutely happy.
"What happened". I ask seriously. "He cheated on me. With Avalon". She paused when she said the name Avalon. She was hurt and believe it or not, I was too.
