"you're not funny, jack" y/n grinned, shaking their head. "i'm not stupid, i know you're joking"

jack looked down at his feet, a guilty expression painted on his face.

"right?" y/n spoke again, realisation hitting them. "jack, you're joking right?"

"i'm so sorry (your nickname), i didn't mean to it was a mistake" he breathed out, his voice breaking.

y/n let out a shaky breathe, turning themselves to look him in the eyes. "get away from me."

"no, y/n, please' jack begged. "i don't want to lose you over this"

"you're a dirty cheat, i want you as far away from me as possible." y/n exclaimed as they rose from their seat.

tears formed in their eyes, but they quickly blinked them away, storming out of the room leaving jack alone witu his thoughts.
