Your POV:

My parents kicked me out after graduation.

I came out, they kicked me out.

So when a semester ends I don't go home.

Because I don't have one.

I sat in the bedroom of the hotel room and watched TV. I was surfing through the channels when I heard it.

"The NWSL announced today that she'll be playing in this league with the Washington Spirit."

I smiled. "Way to go Mal."

I opened Twitter and went to her profile. "Follow me back you damn child." I sighed.

Mal's POV:

I scrolled through Tweets from fans about signing with Washington.

(YourTwitter) You're welcome

I smiled and went to the profile. Sure enough, it was Y/N. I followed her and sent her a message.

Visiting UCLA sounds great. Is the coffee still free?

Visit soon and it will be

I closed Twitter and looked at my mom. "What?"

"You just seem so much happier."

"I'm doing what I was meant to do mom. Play soccer."

She left me alone and I saw a message from Y/N.

Twitter pisses me off just text me like a normal person.

I saved her number to my phone and texted her.

It's your favorite soccer player

Your POV:

I wouldn't say you're my favorite

Give me credit though I am the one who pushed you to drop out

I locked my phone and left the hotel room.

My phone started ringing. I smirked and answered. "If this is how it's gonna be, I'm gonna change my number."

"No, you won't. You like me enough to give it to me."

"I regret my choices." I kept walking. "How is pro life?"

"It hasn't really started yet but I'm excited for it." She said. "How's home life?"

"Well the TV sucks but I have room service so I guess it's ok." I said.

"Wait what?"

"I'm staying in a hotel."

"You aren't home."

"I don't have a home." I said.

"Why not?"

"I'm not telling you these kinds of things." I sighed.

"Please? I thought we were friends."

"Why would you think that?"

"You gave me your number."

"I gave you my number, not a friendship bracelet." I laughed. "My parents kicked me out after graduation," I said. "Because I'm gay. Now you know."

"I'm sorry." She said. "Well, I'll be your friend. I'm getting my own place when I move and you're more than welcome to crash."

"Staying at your place? Buy me dinner first freshman."

"I'm not a freshman and I didn't mean it like that."

"You'll always be a freshman, freshman." I smirked. "Gotta go. Maybe I'll take you up on that offer." I hung up.

Mal's POV:

I looked at my phone.

Why is she the way she is?

Why do I like it?

I opened my messages.

Kelley! Next camp we NEED to talk.
