Bill:
One morning it was pouring rain, and you were walking to the bus stop. You saw some boy standing on the edge of the sidwalk, staring down at the sewer. He was getting soaked,so you walked over to him. "Are you okay?" You yelled over the rain. He turned around to face you,”Y-yeah I’m fine.” He stuttered. You recognized him, he was Bill Denbrough. He went to your high school, and he had a stuttering problem. “Do you want to walk with me?” I asked only because I had an umbrella and I thought he appreciate not getting soaked. “S-sure.” We walked for a bit, the sound of raindrops hitting the plastic over our heads relaxing. “So why were you staring at the sewer?” “My brother G-Gerogie went m-m-missing a-and he c-could only b-be in the s-sewers.” “Oh,I’m sorry for bringing it up.” “It’s okay.” “Have you lived in Derry your whole life?” “Yeah, s-sadly.” He laughed. “I just moved here from Chicago.” “W-why did you m-move?” “My mom wanted a fresh start in a shitty little town.” We both laughed. “How l-long have you b-b-been here?” “About a week.” “Is it y-your first day?” “Yeah, how is the high school by the way?” “S-shitty.” We both laughed,”So a normal high school?” “Y-yeah.”
Richie:
I knew Richie my whole life. Well, it felt that way. We met about six months ago. I was at the park with my best friend,Betty. There was a tall kid, a short kid who had a fanny pack, and a kid with glasses. While we were on the swings I stared at them. I had seen them around school. The tall kid was named Ben,I think. No, that’s the new kid from Soc! I can’t remember his name, but he had a really bad stutter. The short kid was always hanging out with the other kids, but I never heard his name. The one with glasses was Richie. He’s really funny, and he likes to make fun of everyone. Richie looked over at me, and I quickly looked away. I stopped my swing as Betty had done. “What’s wrong?” She asked, looking over at me. “Richie Tozier.” “Where?” She asked, raising an eyebrow. “Over there.” I nodded toward the pond. “I hate that kid. He’s always making fun of me.” “Tell him to stop.” “What? No!” “He’s over there with his friends, go embarrass him.” “Actually, I might.” She smirked. She stood up and marched over to the boys. “I wasn’t serious!” I yelled after her. I got up and followed her. It was too late, she was already standing behind the dark-haired boy. “Hey, Tozier!” She tapped his shoulder. “Oh, Betty, hey.” “Hey? Really? You make fun of me everyday and I should kick-“ “Betty!” I yelled, pushing her to the ground. “Stop!” I yelled. “What the hell is wrong with you?!” She yelled. “I was just kidding!” “Go to hell, all of you!” She stood up and stormed off. Unfortunately, that was the last time I ever saw her. “What was that all about?” Richie asked. “She was going to kick your ass,” I laughed,”I told her to yell at you,I was just kidding.” Richie smirked,”Feisty, that’s hot.” I furrowed my brows in confusion, he was kind of weird. “Ignore his stupid comment.” I heard the short kid joke. “Will do.” I laughed. “Y/n,” I stuck my hand out. “Richie Tozier.” He stuck his hand out and shook mine.
Eddie:
I ran to the nurses, blood pouring out of my right nostril. She handed me a box of tissues and sent me to the bathroom. I came out five minutes later. I had used half the box of tissues, but my nose had stopped profusely bleeding! Since Henry had done it, she had to call my mom. I sat in a chair and waited as she phoned my mother. A short kid with a fanny pack came in and sat next to me after he saw the Nurse on the telephone. “Why do you have a fanny pack?” I asked, raising an eyebrow. “My pills.” He unzipped the pouch and pulled out two bottles of red and blue pills. “What are they for?” He shrugged,”Allergies or something.” “So you take pills, but you don’t know what for?” I asked. “I guess.” “You’re weird.” “No,I’m Eddie.” I laughed,”Hi Eddie. I’m Y/n.”
Stan:
I laid in the plush green grass, listening to the wind blow through my ears. It was a perfect day. I looked up at the sky, it was a bright blue color. I sat up for a few minutes to avoid falling asleep in the park. I did that once, and woke up to Henry Bowers standing over me. I saw a boy walking toward me, and I got paranoid. Why would a boy be walking over to me? He stopped a few feet before me sat in the grass, looking out at the trees. I got up and walked over to him,”What are you doing?” He looked up at me, squinting over the sun in his eyes. “What are you doing?” “Hey,I asked first.” He just looked up at me. I sat next to him and looked in the direction he was looking in at first. “I don’t see anything other than trees.” “Look closer.” I saw a cardinal, that was it. “All I see are trees and a few birds.” “There you go.” “You’re a bird watcher?” I raised my eyebrow in suspicion. “Mhm.” He nodded a bit. When he nodded I saw he has a Yamaka on. “Are you a jew?” He sighed and rolled his eyes.,”Yeah.” “Sorry.” I raised my hands at my sides in submission. “I’m Y/n by the way.” “Stan Uris.” “You’re kind of a weird boy. Why are you looking at birds on a Saturday afternoon?” “I like birds. Why are you laying the park on a Saturday afternoon?” “I needed to clear my head.” He nodded. “Do you ever take that off?” “The Yamaka?” “Yeah.” “Sometimes. When I shower and go to sleep.” “You even wear it to school and when you hang out with your friends?” “Yeah.” “How many of them do you have?” “Why are you asking me questions about my Yamaka?” I shrugged,”I just wanted to know.” I stood up to leave, he was kind of a dick. “Hey, where are you going?” “I’m going to buy a Yamaka!” I called out as I walked away.
Mike:
I stood outside of the drug store, waiting for Eddie. I hated going in there, the cashier always stares at me and made me feel uncomfortable. I saw Belch’s car rush past me into the alley, and some yelling. When I knew his car was gone I looked down the alley. There was a kid there. I rushed over to him. “Are you okay?” I asked. “Yeah I’m fine.” He huffed. “Need some help?” I asked, looking to his bike. The packages of meat had fallen out of the bicycle basket. “Uh-yeah-please.” He picked up the bike and I put the packages in. “What are you doing with all of this meat?” “I live on the farm outside of town, it’s kind of my job to deliver it.” “Oh.” I put the final package in the basket,”Well there ya’ go.” “I’m Mike by the way.” “Y/n!” I heard Eddie’s little voice yell down the alley. “Bye Mike.” I ran to Eddie, then walked him home.
Ben:
I was walking down the hallway, then out the school doors. The last day of school, finally! I went to the East entrance and went the grab my bike. I saw someone blocking my way. I cleared my throat. “Oh, sorry.” The items from his hands fell to the ground. “Sorry.” His model of some Derry building fell apart as it hit the cement. “Sorry.” He sighed. “Here, let me get that.” I bent down and grabbed his pencil case, yearbook, and headphones. “Thanks. I’m Ben by the way.” He smiled after I put the things in his backpack. “I’m Y/n.” “I know, we have Biology together.” “We do?” “Yeah.” “Oh, I always sleep in that class, sorry.” I laughed. “Well um you um have a great summer…” He trailed off. “You too Ben from Bio.” I grabbed my bike after he walked off, wheeling his bike next to him in the grass. His headphones were dragging behind him and I just laughed. I rode home and thought about our odd encounter.
Beverly:
It was the last day of Freshman year, thank fucking god. I hate this school and everyone in it. I hate Henry and his gang of idiots. I hate the popular girls and their gang of idiots. I hate the nerds and their gangs of dorks. I never really had any friends, and I intended to keep it that way. Everyone was either rude, stuck-up, or a weirdo. I had to pee before I left the hell-hole, so I walked into the E-hallway girls bathroom. The popular girls were making fun of some poor girl, trapping her in a stall. I rolled my eyes and walked into the stall furthest away from the bitches. I heard Greta calling the girl a “little shit.” “Well what is it Greta, am I a slut or a little shit?” I chuckled. I heard someone filling up something with a large amount of water. I opened the stall door and saw a skinny blonde filling a trash can full of water. “Stop!” I yelled. The three girls looked at me, stunned. Greta smirked,”What? Are you here to save your girlfriend Beaverly?” “I thought she was a whore who sleeps with all of the guys?” Greta got in my face,”Just stay out of it, skank.” I lost it. I slapped her in the face as hard as I could. I would have punched her, but I don’t think that was fitting for the situation. “Now get out!” I yelled at her. All three of them scurried out of the bathroom, and into the hall. I sighed and leaned against the sink, they were too much work. I heard the lock to the stall door slowly open. I forgot about her. “Thanks.” She smiled. “No problem,I hate them.” “I laughed. “Yeah,” She chuckled,”Me too.” “I’m Y/n.” I offered a friendly smile. “Beverly.” “I know.” “Well,Y/n, you saved my ass.” “No problem Beverly.” I smiled
