He would be satisfied, the revenge that haunted him until the mission was complete, would've never appeared in the first place. Al-Thamen would've never worked with his mother... he still remembered the beautiful, sweet smile his mother gave him, her smile radiating light and joy to all. His hand in hers... if they were normal, if everything was normal, he would never have killed her.
Yet- if he was normal, he wouldn't have met Alibaba, Morgiana and Aladdin. His teasing arguments with Alibaba... His friendliness to Morgiana... and his fun with Aladdin... would cease to exist. The adventures through the dungeon Zagan... The thrill and challenge to get his own metal vessel. It wouldn't happen if he was normal.
What was this? Her voice appeared in his mind once again, the words that he didn't hear from her: "Perhaps looking at it another way... maybe we are the ones normal and everyone is special."
