First and foremost, you must understand this thing about magic. Magic is alive, and thus something you must work with. It is a secondary being, identical to your own, and the closest thing to a twin that one can ever have. Many have tried to force magic as though it were merely tool, and thus paid a horrible price. Many Dark Magic Wielders have come out from such force upon their magic, and many of them slowly fall into insanity from the mental toll it takes on them.

Magic is the trait that all creatures in this world are born with, the trait that all beings in Mythos share. However, this is one trait that can take years, if not decades to master. An animal, such as a doe, can gain magic through various means. However, once they gain magic, they become Anthropomorphic, having the physical posture of humans (being able to walk on two legs, have hands, etc.), but having the features of animals (fur, tails, claws, feathers, etc.).

All creatures, regardless of what race they may come from, have four stages to go through in the mastery of all magic, and there are side branches as well. The mage is the first level, being a novice at magic, and only being able to perform low level spells. A mage of water, for example, would only be able to alter the flow of water, but not fully control it. A Wizard or Witch is the next level, being a master at only one type of magic. After this point, a person can go two different paths. They can become an Emissary of an element, and the element shall influence their personality as well as their physical form. The other path of a magic wielder is to become a sorcerer or sorceress, at which point they master more than one form of magic. A rare stage which almost no one gets to is a Vesper, a creature of all magic, whether pure or not. This stage is so rare, only 5 have ever been recorded in the entire history of Mythos, which spans about 3 million years.

A few basics you should know about magic:
1. Never hold back. If you hold back then both you and you magic essence, known as a Sol, will be harmed
2. The darkest of magi are the ones who have forced the use of their magic, which also harms them. Because of this, they go insane.
3. A Dark Magi who has just become evil is more dangerous as they have less control over their magic. This means that any spell they cast will be extremely unstable, and could defeat many an unready Light Magi.
4. Light and Dark Magi are not called Light and Dark because of their magic, but because how that magic is used. For example, a Light Magi, also called Pure Magi, could use the Element of Darkness, while a Dark Magi, also called a Corrupted Magi, could use magic related to nature.
5. A Magi can use spells from their level and any previous level. Spells used from previous levels become more powerful.
6. Weapons, such as a sword, can be infused with magical energy, and thus can be more powerful than before
7. Magic on it's own, without any elemental influence, is a grayish blob. In this form it is mildly explosive.
