After getting dressed in some clean clothes, I woke Natsu up and he, Happy, and I went to the guild. At this point, nearly everyone was there and the place was pretty clean.

"We didn't get to hear you sing last night, Baz. I tried looking for you to get on the mic, but you weren't here." Mira frowned at me as she brought me and Natsu our drinks.

"I just wasn't in the mood to party. Left to go wander around, be alone, you know." I shrugged.

"I guess the last job was a bit hard on you, Baz. I'm sorry." Erza said and I shook my head.

"Nah, I'm okay now." I said and Gray walked in again, saw me and then saw everyone around me. I watched as he came to the conclusion that this wasn't the best time to talk to me.

I soon got an idea, and stood up to go to Mira at the bar. "What is some of the strongest, fastest working shit you have?" I asked.

"Baz?" She asked, slowly taking down a bottle.

"Yeah, like, two shots of that, please." I said and she poured the two.

"Why? What's happening?" She asked as I threw back the first one.

"I'm about to do something very stupid, and I need courage." I almost threw back that shot and then paused. "It's also for my nerves. I don't wanna throw up." I winked and downed it, then walked onto the stage and turned on the mic, tapping it and heard the feedback.

"Alright." I clapped my hands together and most of the guild looked at me. "Mira apparently wanted me to sing yesterday at our party, but I went home early, because, I don't know, fuck you that's why. Anyway, here goes." I hummed and adjusted the mic a little to my height before starting to sing to a tune.

"Oops, my baby, you woke up in my bed
Oops, we broke up, we're better off as friends
Now I accidentally need you, I don't know what to do
Oops, baby, I love you."

I saw some people figure it out very quickly, but some were just enjoying the music. Nonetheless, I blushed and kept singing, ignoring the shocked stares.

"We had a good run
We messed around and had some good fun
Guess it turns out I lost a good one
'Cause now I'm wishing every morning would come
With you next to me, baby

And when I think about the way you touch my body
This could be my greatest mistake
You've got me singing

Oops, my baby, you woke up in my bed
Oops we broke up, we're better off as friends
Now I accidentally need you, I don't know what to do
Oops, baby, I love you

Now I accidentally know that you're in love with me too
Oops, baby, I love you."

I finished pretty quickly, and at that point, Gray had gotten the message and was blushing profusely.

"Thanks. I'm done, and now I'm going to go throw myself off a cliff." I said and hopped off the stage and walked out, faking confidence.

It wasn't until I was part way home when a hand caught mine, and I was spun into a hug. The feeling of bare skin told me it was Gray.

"Where is your shirt?" I asked, my hand hovering over his back.

"Who cares? Did you mean it? Do you really love me?" He asked and when he pulled back to look at me, his face seemed exhilarated.

"Yes." I said and reached up to feel his hair. "I know I shouldn't, after what you did, but I can't help it. I love you." I admitted. I had nothing to lose now.

Gray just beamed and hugged me tight to him, nearly crushing me. "Thank God. I love you, too, Baz. I hate myself for how much I hurt you-"

"I know. I heard." I giggled and he looked at me in confusion. "I was hiding behind the bar this morning." I said and he sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Of course you were." He said and touched his forehead to mine. "I know I'm really to selfish to ask, but can we please try again? I'll treat you right this time, I swear. And if I do something wrong, tell me immediately, and I'll fix it. I never, ever want to hurt you again. That was torture when you were in the guild, yelling at me and telling me all the wrong I did, and you..." his thumb came up to stroke my cheek.

"You looked so hurt and so tired, and knowing I caused that... death would've been preferable. I'd probably end up killing myself if I hurt you ever again..." he said and shut up thanks to me laughing.

"Don't talk like that. I think we both learned our lessons." I said, holding his cheek, and he closed his eyes and leaned into my hand.

"I love you so much." He sighed and kissed my palm gently.

"I love you too much." I smiled and reached up to kiss him, and Gray kissed me back just as sweetly.

And I finally felt complete.
