Oracion Seis stood back and looked at us, defeated and on the ground. I hadn't used any of my magic yet, so I looked up and focused on the leader, Brain. His magic must have to do with the mind, so from far away, I tried to get into his.

I watched him start to cast a spell, and my eyes burned, but then he stopped. Did it work?

No, he just spotted Wendy, and now looked like he wanted her.

"To think we simply stumbled upon her here... we've made quite a find, my friends." He said and pointed his staff at her. "Grab her! And her too." He suddenly looked at me and I froze up.

"Why her? She hasn't done anything." Speed asked.

"She's been trying to get inside my head for the last minute or so. Don't think I don't feel you trying to probe around." He directed to me, and I let my magic die as I was in shock. Usually people didn't sense that I was controlling them, but he did.

I let out a scream as a dark green hand of magic grabbed me and Wendy, and I held onto her to keep her safe.

"Help us!" Wendy called.

"Grab my paw!" Carla yelled, but Wendy somehow grabbed Happy instead.

"Baz!" I heard Gray yell, and got one last look at him before we all vanished.

Next thing I knew, we were in this cave thing, thrown to the ground.

"Hey! Mind being a little gentler with your captives?" I snapped, and Brain lifted me by my throat, and I clawed at his wrist.

"That's right. Beat me up all you want, but if you dare lay a finger on the girl or cat..." I didn't get to finish my threat before he squeezed my airway, and I choked. Then he threw me to the ground, and I groaned.

"Baz! You aren't hurt are you?" Wendy came to my side.

"Don't you worry about me, sweetie." I said, sitting myself up and petting her hair.

"I don't see why the two girls are important." Speed said.

"Do they know something about Nirvana?" Angel asked.

"Wendy uses what's called sky magic. It gives her the power to heal others." Brain said, and I looked over at Wendy, impressed. "And the other has manipulation magic. She can get into your mind and get you to do anything she wants you to, just as she tried to do with me not minutes ago."

"So what's a healer and a manipulator got to do with anything?" Cobra asked.

"With Wendy's power, we shall revive him. And if he doesn't do as we ask, she can order him." Brain said, and the others looked amazed.

"Revive who?" Happy asked.

"Yeah, that's not going to work, cos see. We've got something called free will. Maybe you've heard of it?" I said and got another punch to the face.

"You talk too much." Angel said and I glared at her.

"Racer, bring him to me at once." Brain ordered. Wait, his name is Racer and not Speed? I should've paid attention to the introduction more.

"Cobra, Hot Eye, Angel, I want you to continue the search for Nirvana." Brain ordered. "Midnight and I will remain here, keeping an eye on these three."

"Hey." I called again, and the five villains looked annoyed at me. "You gonna tell us what Nirvana does or not?"

"I suppose we can answer that." Brain said. "It's incredibly powerful. It swaps light for darkness." He said as the other three left.

"And what's that mean? Light for darkness? Are you just gonna make it nighttime twenty four seven, or are you talking about people?" I asked.

"It causes those caught in the rift between light and darkness to switch sides." He said.

"Switch si- people don't act like that. And what do you mean, 'switch sides'? People aren't just black and white and can switch like that." I snapped my fingers, and was knocked backwards by his foot to my jaw.

"You're only beating me up because you know I'm right." I hissed. "The magic simply doesn't make sense."

We fell into silence as Brain waited for Racer to bring back whatever, and the three of us sat against the wall, Brain leaning on the opposite, and Midnight still asleep.

"Baz?" Happy asked and I looked down and scratched his head a little. "Can you sing me a song? I'm getting scared." He admitted softly and I smiled.

"Sure." I hummed and cleared my throat, singing as sweetly as I could.

"You can blame me,
Try to shame me,
And still I'll care for you
You can run around,
Even put me down,
Still I'll be there for you

The world may think I'm foolish
They can't see you like I can
Oh but anyone who knows what love is
Will understand..."

Soon it was hard to hear anything aside from my singing. Wendy curled up to my side, and I put my arm around her as Happy let me pet him as he sat on my other side.

"I know, I know to ever let you go
Oh, it's more than I could ever stand
Oh, but anyone who knows what love is
Will understand..."

Racer came back with what seemed to be a coffin in a T shape. "Sorry it took so long. Thing was so heavy I hardly picked up any speed." He said.

"Trust me, Racer, there's nothing that can even come close to your speed." Brain said.

"You mean other than yourself in bed?" I said it before I could think, and slapped a hand over my mouth. "I totally didn't mean that, sorry. I don't have a filter." I apologised and Brain just looked at me with a glare and a huff.

"No matter, it's time, Wendy. Are you ready to resurrect the man inside?" Brain said and the front of the coffin seemed to melt away as a blue haired man with a face tattoo and glowing spots on his body was revealed.

"Jellal...?" Happy and Wendy both gasped.

"Who?" I asked, totally lost.
