After that day, Jiyeon avoided Banryu at all cost and would hang out with either Sooho, Yeowool, Hansung, Sammekjong or Ahro everyday.

But if she was not in the Hwarang house, she would have tea with Queen Jiso. And when she does, she would update her on what was happening with her warriors.

Today, she was at the Hwarang house, helping the cooks with the men's breakfast. She was the head chef while the other cooks were the sous chef. Whe rolled up her sleeves and tied her hair. She taught the other chefs on how to cook proper breakfasts.

They did not pay attention though, they were too busy admiring her and the fact that they did not notice her bruised hands.

Flashback

Jiyeon went home with Ahro just after hers and Banryu's fight. She was quiet the whole time and it made Ahro confused. She was happy a while ago but she was gloomy now, but she didn't ask her what happened since Ahro knows Jiyeon does not want to be bothered at the moment.

Jiyeon walked with Ahro til she safely got home. But, Jiyeon went straight to the fields where the dummys are at. It was her own training grounds that she set for herself.

She took out her sword and started hitting the dummy with full force. She was letting her anger out and this was her way to remove it.

And with a roundhouse kick, she made the dummy fly, but she did not stop there. She trained and trained until night time.

By then, she was already a complete mess. Her hair accesories were falling out, her hands are bruised and bleeding and her clothes are crumpled, sweat was also flowing down her face.

She was overexerting herself. She was panting and her vision became blurry, until she collapsed. Before she could fall, someone caught her but she could not tell who it was but she could tell that it was a man because of his voice range. She could hear his concern but it was cut off when she fainted.

End of flashback

Her hands were bandaged but arms are not, which revealed the purple bruises because of that night's training. It still did not heal even though it has been a few days, no one noticed it except for Sammekjong.

When he found out she scolded her about being too reckless and comforted her at the same time.

She had Ahro treat it since her hands could not help her because... You already know.

The hwarangs were already awake and it was her cue to leave. She signalled the chefs to put the food outside so that everything would be set.

She left just when the hwarangs settled down in the cafeteria. Jiyeon went straight to the physician's quarters where Ahro was staying so that she could rest.

Jiyeon knocked first before hearing a come in from Ahro. They might be bestfriends but Jiyeon is the type to not just barge in and have manners unlike one friend of hers.

"Jiyeon, what brings you here? And how are your arms?" Ahro asked once she came in. Jiyeon told her everything that happened and Ahro felt sorry for her friend.

Jiyeon cared for her brother deeply but in one snap, their bond is slowly breaking just because of her arrogant brother's pride.

"Can i rest here for a bit? I didn't get enough rest at home, and yes they are fine now though they are still bruising" she lied down on the bed carefully. Once her head hit the soft cushion, she fell in a deep sleep.

Ahro was worried for her friend. Since the day she fought with her brother, she was not sleeping well. Ahro sighed. Just as she was about to go out and confront Banryu, Hansung was already in front of the door ready to knock.
