Kisses smiled as she finished cooking some pasta, it took her awhile to learn but thanks to her mom she had finally made something good.

"May niluto ka nanaman. Are you gonna bring it over ba kila Donny?" She said with a teasing smile. But all she did was laugh and nod in affirmation.

"I know you two are friends, but I feel something in the way you two stare at each other." Her mom said, her tone now serious.

"Mom. I know nagaalala ka, but we are friends and he helped me a lot on my recovery. He has been there when I needed a confidant just like you and dad have been." She said with a smile as recalled how he stuck with her even though he seemed cold at first.

He is gentle and kind, much to her shock.

And his family also bears the same qualities, and that made her more happy that somehow she found a friend who truly wanted to help her.

"Don't worry mom, Donny and I know what we are doing. And if he ever really likes me, I know what to do." She said and kissed her on the cheeks and waved her goodbye.
