So Much World To See
So many places on this Earth
To see between my death and birth
I want to visit London just one more time
Before I return to Hawaii and make it mine
The idea of seeing a New York Broadway play
Or ask what an Indian Guru would say
Makes me feel so young and full of life
In that way I am glad I have no child or wife
I used to think a person could not be whole
Without the love of a family as their goal
But when I think of cruising through Europe’s heart
I dream of the day I can depart
Have you ever seen the open sea
With the stars above you making you feel so free
It is a thing so special to be one the Ocean
Knowing that your life is finally in motion
Save your dimes and nickels, work all you can
Save for travel, makes a better woman or man
Your eyes will open to so much more
When you step out of that airplane door
The time is now, the game is on
No better time to be gone
Mourn not the friends you leave behind
The best ones will still be friends with time
Just think of what it would be like to see
The crystal clear ocean and just watch and be
In the tropic isles or south pacific
Time is wasting, come on and get with it!
Have you heard of Odysseus and his long journey
Ten years of absence, his heart was burning
But he returned a new and braver man
Be a King like him, travel all you can!
