Little Wolf

It was the fullest moon I've ever seen
big enough for the wolf to scream
from then on I wasn't normal
I changed much more informal

They said my heart would melt
I see now that they meant it by felt
For my strength I have gained
but all they want is for me to be chained

I lost everything they sold
I was left to die in the winter cold
my fears I have chased
and so my fears I have faced

I truthfully hate to sleep
an eye open is what I keep
I can still hear the humans calling
but only as they were falling

I must hide what I am
luckily most think I'm a scam
don't ask about my past
that is the question you must ask last

I'm not human, nor entirely diffrent, in a way
let's just say, I'm not myself during the day

This is one of my favorites...aaaahhhhhhooooooooooo!
