In the distance
I see your lighthouse
Once a friend
Once a spouse
You reach for me through your light
I can see your sun in the dark of night

Twice a spouse
Waves of not water but wine
Deeply wanting to make you mine
Still
I see your lighthouse shine

I wrote this during class because my teacher had a lighthouse standing on top of his cupboard and it was quite random. It's a bit different than usual, but interesting. Fight for what you want
