when the days were lonely
when the nights were cold
when the words were empty
when the truth will unfold
you were there with me,
you were by my side,
you were the one I could trust,
you are the one with who I can confide,
when I felt insecure
when I felt hopeless and weak
when my body was broken
when my soul has a leak
you assured me with your words
you motivated me with your smile
you built me up piece by piece
you hold a small vile
to remind me of the good parts.
to make me see it not as the end but the start.
to make sure I didn't break apart.
to collect the tears from my heart.
