But it's dangerous
Don't look behind
Or you'll fall into an abyss
Captivating blue-brown eyes
Signatured smirks
Lots of lies
In darkness he lurks
But here's something more
He's not that bad
He's just been hurt down to the core
He's actually just sad
Someone who forgot
It's okay to need a hug
But sadness he fought
Saw people as a rug
But I understand his pledge
I hear his silent screams
Silver rimmed edge
We're the same it seems
Don't ever think you're alone
Even if you're as mad as a hatter
Even if your heart has turned to stone
You will always matter
