"bev came up to us and started talking about you fucking her yesterday." mike explained.
"t-that didn't happen. i swear y-you guys."
"then why would she tell us that?" stanley questioned "that's not really something you lie about."
"yeah bill, why would she say that?" richie piggybacked off of stanley's question, letting go of bill's hand.
"because she's crazy!" bill yelled. "she's absolutely fucking insane cause i broke up with her and she doesn't even believe me! she thinks that i'm joking or something!" something snapped inside of bill, and he didn't stutter once.
richie's jaw dropped and he shifted back over to bill, putting his hands on bill's shaking shoulders. "hey, hey." richie tried to calm bill down. luckily, he was successful and bill turned toward richie and took a deep breath. bill plucked richie's hands off his shoulders and held them in his own.
"t-thanks rich." the two stared at each other before eddie cleared his throat.
"uh bill? are you going to give us any explanation as to why you think bev is crazy, and why you broke up with her?"
"o-oh yeah right." bill let go of richie's hands, realizing that the entire losers club was staring at them.
