"bill," eddie said softly as he placed a hand on the boy's back. bill only wailed. "hey-hey, you're alright, you're gonna be alright." eddie glanced frantically at the other boys standing around, unsure of what to do. "stanley will you go get a bath started? and mike can you grab a robe or something?" they just nodded with bewildered eyes and walked across the hall to the bathroom.
no one had ever seen bill cry like this.
