I couldn’t tell where I was going, all I knew was that my head was swimming from the blow it just received and the shock of what had happened to me. My whole body was throbbing with pain, the ache between my legs so incredibly sharp that I wasn’t sure if I was physically able to walk. I had to though…I couldn’t just stay in the same room as that sick man my father sold me out too.

With those thoughts I was stumbling through the hallways of the house, searching desperately for a bathroom. I finally came across an open door, my heart beating loudly in my chest as I quickly threw myself inside the safe haven, locking the door so I was isolated from those sick, sick men.

Somewhere between crying and whimpering, I had made it to the shower, my body curled up on the porcelain floor as I watched blood drip down from the inside of my thighs and mix with the water. All I could think was why…why did HE betray me? Why would he leave me to the man I had just escaped from? What did I do ever do him? Was…Was I not good enough? Just-Just why, Liam?

“Brinlee,” a voice jolted me out of my state of slumberous panic, hands resting on my shoulders. My eyes sprung open and I let out a panicked whine, trying my best to escape the touch of the large man above me. Wait, above me? I frantically glanced at my surroundings, noticing the hotel room features that actually didn’t look that shabby. With another hesitant touch to my shoulder though, I shrieked and kicked furiously at the figure only to my legs swatted away.

“Brinlee, it’s me, darling. Calm down,” the voice repeated gently making me freeze and blink the sleep from my gaze, the figure obviously Liam…even worse. I shook my head and slapped his hands away, glaring as I shifted my body off the bed on the opposite side so a whole mattress was between us.

“Stay away from me,” I mumbled, staring at my feet and shuffling stressfully.

“Just hear me out?” Liam begged but I simply glared and stumbled for the door, moving out to the living room where Louis and Niall were sitting on the floor, a duvet spread across the carpet and my daughter laughing hysterically on her back as she was tickled. (picture of her daughter in the side bar)

“Well, good morning, beautiful,” Niall smiled widely, before turning his attention back to my daughter, wiggling his fingers threateningly. She squealed and kicked her legs, my whole mood brightening at the sight of her smiling and laughing energetically, something I rarely saw from her.

“Brin, darling,” Louis said softly, ushering me to sit on the couch. “Now that you’re awake, would you mind if I took care of that little shot now?”  A lump grew in my throat and I stared up at him, as if to ask if it was truly necessary.

“I-I can hold your hand if you’re scared,” Liam said quietly, hopefully from where he stood a few feet away, an obvious longing in those honey brown eyes that once brought me reassurance.

“Stay away from me, bastard,” I snarled, watching as he bit his lip, shaking his head and rushing off to the bedroom I had just come from.

“That was extremely uncalled for, young lady,” Louis snapped, his gaze hardened as he crossed his arms. “He was just trying to be nice.”

“Was he trying to be nice when he handed me over to that-that monster?” I spat, now taking my turn to glare at Louis.

“I get that you feel betrayed,” he gritted his teeth, trying to calm himself. “But you don’t know the half of what happened, Brinlee. So before you make him feel shittier than he already does, suck up that damn pride of yours and give him a chance to explain, understood?” I gaped at him, mouth hanging open slightly as I stared at him, anger bubbling up in me along with the need to defend myself.
