Lucky's Last Battle

I woke up on grassy dirt.

Where am I?

I stood up to see a ocean nearby.

Oh, yes!

The images ran past my head.

But.. I had died, haven't I?

I looked at my paws and shrieked when I saw they were a ghostly pale.

"Shh.. It's okay," I heard a familiar voice.

Could it possibly be?

But he died!

I turned my head to see a ghostly Breadstick standing there.

"B-Breadstick?! You died! How?" I yelped.

Oh, he probably won't understand me.

"I can understand your words, Lucky. And yes I did, and so did you."

I looked at him closely, standing up.

He had fire burns on his arms, legs, face and everywhere.

I probably did, too.

We both burned, so we would be the same.

"Would you like to see your friends?" Breadstick asked.

"We can watch over them, Lucky."

I nodded.

Would they see me?

Hopefully!

Breadstick lead the way to the doghouse, and I ran to my friends.

I saw Stampy lay my body down in front of them.

Wait what?

My body?!

Oh, wait.. I'm not in my body..

I watched as Tikka and Oreo looked at me sadly.

Barnaby ran over to it and whimpered, then whipped around to face Oreo and Tikka.

"How could you? You let him die!" He growled.

"We- He-" Tikka began.

"He was too fast and ran into flames. We couldn't stop it. He tried to jump into the water, but died before he was able to jump," Oreo explained.

"He died honorably."

Fluffy let out a cry as she entered.

(Is Fluffy a girl? I don't care she is now!)

"Lucky! Oh, what happened?!"

"He burned," Barnaby answered.

I looked at Stampy and the others.

"Guys.. I- I'm so sorry.." He began.

"No," Lee stopped him.

"They know. About Breadstick too."

Amy shivered, "They're watching us. I KNOW it."

Breadstick sighed.

"Amy, if you only knew.."

I look at Breadstick and walk up to him.

"It's alright, Breadstick. We can watch now. Maybe learn to warn them if HitTheTarget is coming?" I suggested, trying to make my friend smile.

I certainly didn't fail with making him smile.

"That's a great idea, Lucky! And to think you're a dog! Let's practice tomorrow, though, alright?"

I nod.

So far, this is great!
