Lucky's Last Battle

Without second thoughts, I turn around and run out the room, through the hallways, and through the door back outside.

No, no, no! I think, with a growl.

I run into the dog house and look at my friends.

Fluffy is sleeping, Sherbet is eating pork-chops, Barnaby is keeping guard by a door, Oreo and Tikka and sleeping in a corner, and so on.

Aqua isn't there: She must be with Stampy today.

I sigh and lay down next to Fluffy.

She was like a mother to me; How hard was my, err, death, on her?

I close my eyes, and think about HitTheTarget's words.

We can't warn Stampy.

There is no way!

And this isn't our fight anymore; Besides, what can Breadstick and I do?

We are just two spirits whose time wasn't supposed to be up.

I look up when I hear a yowl of grief.

"What?" I mutter, when I see a body.

I stand up and leave Fluffy's side, whose eyes were wide with horror, and ran to the body.

Aqua...

Stampy stands next to Lee, who is trying to comfort Rosie.

"S-She died in wh-what she loved." Rosie sobbed.

"Sh, its okay..." Lee whispered.

I watched them sadly, before looking back at Aqua.

Touching my nose to hers, I close my eyes.

"I'm sorry Aqua." I murmur.

"Don't be."

I jump, startled, and look behind me.

Its Aqua!

"Aqua!" I yell happily and run to the ghost.

Aqua smiles sadly at me, and I stand in front of her.

"How did you die?"

"I was swimming in the water by Stampy's new game. I got stuck and, well, drowned." Aqua explained.

I look at her, "I'm sor-" I begin.

"Like I said, don't be." Aqua replies.

Breadstick walks in, "A-Aqua?"

He runs to Aqua and picks her up.

"Why is everyone dying?" Breadstick murmured.

Aqua licks his cheek, "It's okay Breadstick. I can swim without worrying about drowning."

Breadstick hugs her to him. "I know."

"You can understand me?"

"Of course I can."

Aqua gasps.

I nod, "Yup! We can all understand each other!"

"Now we can talk!" Aqua says happily.

Of course she'd want to talk to Breadstick: Aqua is actually Breadstick's dog.

I smile at them.

Even though we were dead, we would have fun.

After HitTheTarget is dead.
