After the school day was over, you rushed home, like always. You had work again, but meanwhile before your job started, you did your duties as a student. You talked to Jimin, it was becoming more like a ritual; you did it almost every day. This continued for several weeks, until the school year came to an end.

Your (e/c) orbs filled with translucent tears as you wore your black robe. This was it, the moment had come. You walked into the familiar auditorium, although this time is was very special. You wished you could have sat with your friends, unfortunately the seating arrangements were in alphabetical order by last name. You sat in the (First letter in last name) row, and saw (b/f) sitting all the way in the front/back. You then saw your parents file into the room, and you saw they sat pretty close to the stage in order to see your special moment. You smiled, and waved at them. Your mother smiled back warmly at you, and you saw your father console her with his own watery smile.

You smile turned into a grin, and you waited for the ceremony to begin. Your heart was pounding during the speeches, until it intensified into a heart attack when Mr. Park called you to the stage to get your diploma. You got up from your suddenly comfortable seat, and ambled to the stage. With shaky hands, you took your diploma. The teacher awarding you the very important piece of paper gave a quiet laugh, and you smiled awkwardly. You shook the teacher's hand, and went on in your small journey to shake the rest of the directors and teachers' hands.

After you got off the stage, your heart rested for a small moment.. Until the memory of being announced valedictorian struck you. Your heart started to beat loudly again, you bet all the audience could hear it. Okay, this was the moment that you had been waiting for. When you were announced valedictorian almost two weeks ago, you had almost burst into tears; although you managed to not cry, your mother was not so successful. You let out a quiet exhale, and closed your eyes, clearly recalling the speech you had oh so carefully prepared during the last week and a half.

You opened your eyes, showing determination and extreme focus when you heard Mr. Park call you. You stood up once more, and walked to the stage. Everything was muted, except for the sound of your beating heart and your slightly heavy footsteps as you walked down the aisle. You tried to focus on only looking forward, but instinctively you turned to look at your parents. Your mom's (e/c) eyes were shining with unshed tears, while your father was proudly smiling. Seeing them eased your worries, no matter what they would be there for you.

You continued walking to the stage, and climbed the stairs. After probably the longest time, you were on the podium. You inhaled a deep breath, and carefully and quietly exhaled it. You opened your mouth, and spoke; the words just kept pouring out of you. Sound struck you with a flourish the moment you spoke the first word from your speech; it was like a dam. You made sure to make eye contact with everyone in the ceremony, and smiled jauntily as you thanked (b/f) and your parents. You saw how your friend's eyes welled up with tears, and so did your parents. You almost cried again when you saw your mom quickly wipe away the few tears that had escaped from her eyes; it seemed she didn't want to ruin the makeup that she had carefully put on this morning for this major moment in your life.

You finished the speech you had carefully woven with a smile. After a few moments of silence, your smile started to drop. Did you do something wrong? Suddenly, the crowd stood up as one and you received a standing ovation from them. Your face broke up into a relieved grin, and you gave a small bow of gratefulness before you got off stage. You returned to your seat, meanwhile getting thanked by friends and strangers. You smiled, and thanked them for their support.

Mr. Park cleared his throat to get everyone's attention once more, and spoke,"That was a very appropriate and extraordinary speech, Miss (l/n)!", he continued after the compliment,"Now, as many of you have been waiting for...". As he was speaking, you switched the little tassel from the right to the left like everyone was doing. After Mr. Park was done with his speech, everyone smiled blissfully, and reached for their caps. They threw them carelessly into the air, relieved that their high school years were over.

As you were reaching for your cap, you noticed your wrist included one more letter than previous times. You smiled jovially as you threw your cap into the air, only thinking about the present right now. Today was the only day you could forget about the future, and just focus on the present day. After all, wasn't it your special day?

The ceremony over, you picked up the discarded black mortarboard and once again put it in your (h/c) locks, making sure the tassel was on the left side. You skipped to find your parents, meanwhile finding it a bit difficult due to strangers approaching you and congratulating you on your beautiful valedictorian speech. You even got stopped by a reporter who wanted to interview you for the local newspaper. You just couldn't deny her, your mother had taught you proper decorum. So with a sigh, you agreed to the woman's demand. The extremely obese brunette woman journalist seemed to have a myriad of questions that required extreme thinking. You saw your parents waiting for you, and that caused your desperation to get out of the auditorium to increase seven-fold and to speak laconically. With a droning sigh, the woman left you alone.

You sighted in relief, and rushed over to your parents. Your mother hugged you with a cry, and you hugged her back with equal amounts of strength. You separated after a moment, and then you embraced your father. When your father let you go, your mother grabbed you again, and wailed,"Mah babeh! I'm so proud of my little valedictorian~!". You chuckled, and said,"Thank you mom, but remember that I am not a baby anymore. Those moments were 18 years ago..". She huffed, and replied sassily,"It doesn't matter to me! You'll always be my baby, even if you're forty years old!". You laughed, and said,"... Alright then".

You smiled satisfied, and enjoyed the waning day. It seemed to go by quick, as when you blinked you seemed to be in your room changing out into pajamas. You threw yourself into the (f/c) sheets of your bed, and quickly burrowed under them. Today suddenly crashed on you, and made you almost pass out from the excitement experienced earlier this day. You smiled sleepily, and decided to submit into your body's desire, but not before looking at your left wrist. You fell asleep to the image of delicate (s/c) skin showing, " A K J I ".
