morty try's to steal a glance at the opened book I have, but I closed it quickly before that happens. "mind explaining morty?" Mrs. Smith looked at her son for what felt like an eternity before realizing i was here, wait...not a good sign if you ask me, last time, they thought i was in a relationship with them..hope it isn't the same "..Morty, who's your friend?" oh god no. he looks at me and quickly looks at his mom and violently shakes his head " mom, it's not what you think. w-we just met!" "BACK to the situation at hand. Rick what have you done to my son?" Mr. Smith says, can i go home now?
"w-why do you blame me for e-BURP-everything Jerry?" "BECAUSE! Ever since you came back into our lives, you keep on taking Morty on strange adventures through the universe than him learning at school!" what is wrong with this family? well, i shouldn't judge, should i?
"y-you know Jerry, if you care about your son so much, then go get him a tutor instead of blaming i-it on me, huh?" rick says before drinking more of whats inside his container. Mrs. Smith steps up and says "Your right dad,i'm sorry for Jerry blaming you for everything." she then turns to Jerry " you need to be more respectful for my father, Jerry" i glanced at rick and he looked like he won a battle against an alien overlord. "anyways, back at the situation at hand. Who's going to tutor Morty?" the principal looks at me, i shake my head, he raises his eyebrow, i continue to shake my head, he starts to speak
"Mr. and Mrs. smith, i believe i have found you an solution to your problem." they both look at him "who?" i'm still shaking my head no while morty looks over to me and begins to shake his head as well. The principal gestures to me and i froze " (Y/N) is at top of their classes, especially since she's new here. She's extremely smart and, might i say, one of a kind?" i hate thisprincipal with a passion. They look at me "will you tutor our son?" "Him being incredibly stupid." "dad!" my mind drew a blank, oh what do i say? "can i have time to think about it?" "I don't see why not." and with that, they left. I was left with rick, morty, and a racing mind that going a 120 per second.
"w-well, um. that was weird." morty said as i snap out of a trace "definitely." i begin to walk away "hang on!" "oh, come on! what is it?" morty was right behind me when i said that. "w-we could use a shortcut. want to come?" "morty, come on, y-y-you have 10 seconds before i leave you here alone." i turn to face morty "my house is close by so it would be a waste of time if you did." i begin to walk to the orphanage, i hate to explain where i live when i'm most likely going to move to another orphanage again.
"come on morty, let's go" he turned to look at me before running back to rick and jumping into the portal...Guess i'll tell my crush i love them...when i get one at that
