Chapter 16

"How do you think the tests went?" I asked Aly

"Well, Algebra was ok but I think I could have done better in Health," Aly replied looking slightly disappointed

"I know, Health was harder that I thought it would be," I explained

"Algebra was so easy!" Patrick said throwing his arm over Aly who immediately lit up when his arm touched her shoulder.

"I know but me and Aly doubt that we did that well in Health," I told him

"Arh, don't worry guys, I'm sure you did fine," he said trying to reassure us, but Aly still didn't look certain.

"I hope so," she muttered looking at the floor. Patrick squeezed her to him slightly and she looked at him, before he lightly kissed her.

I rolled my eyes jokingly and went over to Emily and Aiden.

"How do you think you guys did?" I asked them both

"I think I did alright, the revising I did last week, defiantly came in handy," Emily explained

"Same, but I'm sure I did alright," Aiden replied shrugging

"Trust you to say that , I bet you did great," I scoffed since it was true. He laughed before saying,

"I actually think I did alright, I'm not sure if I did great, its for the markers to judge."

"I did really bad in Geography!" Cassie ran over shouting, as her eyes started to water.

"Calm down, I'm sure you didn't do that badly," I said holding her still

"Exactly calm down Cassie, why do you think you did really bad?" Emily asked softly

"I didn't know what any of the questions were about and I didn't answer that many questions!" she shouted again

"Cassie, look at me. Breath in and out, pray for the best and if you did your best, then thats all you can do. Okay?" Aiden said holding her shoulders

"Okay," Cassie answered before he pulled her into a tight and reasurring hug.

Emily looked at him smiling, and due to the shine in her eyes I saw that she realised that Aiden was a really good guy. I lightly pushed her, causing her to blink violently and look away from him,muttering a sorry, while I smiled back at her.

"I'm going home to revise, see you guys later and thanks Aiden," she said before walking over to her car and reversing out of the school parking lot.

"That was really kind of you Aiden," Emily said

"That's just how I roll," he said smiling. I left the two crush birds (since they like each other/have a crush on each other) alone and also decided to go home.

As I approached my car and got in, there was a tap on my window. I was quite startled but looked at my window to see Alex. I put my window down and gave him a small smile.

"Hey, going so soon?" Alex asked smirking

"Yep, I wanted to go get some rest, before I start revising again," I replied

"Do you wanna quickly go grab something to eat?" he asked

"Alright, but where?" I asked him

"Just follow me," he said before getting into his car, which wasnt that far away from mine, and driving out of the parking lot.

I followed him and it wasn't long until we arrived at our location, a café. I got out of my car and walked over to him since he was waiting at the door.
