"That's poison ivy. And that's poison ivy. Oh, and that's poison ivy" Stanley pointed at every plant they passed by, cautiously stepping around them

"What- where's the poison ivy?!" Eddie shreaks, wildly looking around. Scared he might get a rash of some sort

"No where! Not every plant is poison ivy Stanley" Richie exclaims while walking closer to the sewer entrance, fed up with the two boys

"Okay well I'm starting to get itchy now and i-"

"Do you use the same bathroom as your mother?" Richie questions, interrupting Eddie

"Yeah, sometimes" Eddie shrugs, following closely behind Richie

"Then you probably have crabs" Richie says casually while making his way inside the tunnel with Bill

"That's so not funny" Eddie glares annoyed with the constant commentary from Richie about his mom

Bill begins going a bit further into the tunnel. Examining the dirty water and walls with his flashlight. Richie notices Eddie and Stan standing at the entrance, not bothering to come into the sewer

"Aren't you guys coming in?" Richie questions while facing his two friends who stood staring at the water with looks of disgust and contemplation adorning their faces

"Uh uh, it's grey water" Eddie finally responds for both him and Stan

"What the hell is grey water?" Richie questions annoyed. Never has he heard of this so called grey water. It all sounded silly too him

"It's basically..piss and shit. So I'm just telling ya. You guys are splashing around in millions of gallons of Derry pee" Eddie explains as he watches Richie pick up a stick from the dirty water and give it a sniff

"Wha-what are you doing?"

"Doesn't smell like caca to me señor" Richie impersonates a Spanish accent terribly

"Okay, I can literally smell it from here" Eddie rolls his eyes at his friend

"It's probably just your breathe wafting back into your face" Richie retorts

"Have you ever heard of a staph infection?" Eddie exclaims while throwing his right hand up for emphasis

"Oh I'll show you a staph infection" Richie smirks before picking up something with the stick he still held and tossing it towards his germaphobic friend. The two begin bickering over how dirty the sewers were and whether or not Richie had just given Eddie a disease by throwing the dirty trash onto him

"Guys!" Bill calls out, silencing the bickering boys. He turns to face them slightly and faces his flashlight onto the object he held in his hand. It was a worn down shoe

"Shit, don't tell me thats.." Stan quietly says, shocked by his friends discovery

"Georgie wore Galoshes" Bill says, dismissing any thoughts of the shoe belonging to his missing brother

"Well then whose shoe is it?" Eddie questions

Bill looks away from his friends and back at the shoe nervously. He flashes the light on it once more and Richie begins to search the shoe until he comes across a name written in black ink

"It's Betty Ripsoms" Richie confirms

"Oh shit, I don't like this at all" Eddie whines

"Imagine how Betty feels?" Richie begins "Running around these tunnels with only one frigging shoe" he hops on one foot while lifting the other out of the water which earned him glares from Eddie, Bill, and Stan

"What if she's still down here?" Stan says with wide eyes

"W-well then let's find her" Bill states, turning around and beginning to go further into the tunnel with Richie following

"Come on Eddie" Richie calls

"My mom will have an aneurysm, okay? If she find out that we were playing down here. I'm serious" Eddie warns, standing his ground with refusing to go into the sewer

"If I was Betty Ripsom I would want us to find me" Bill speaks up "G-georgie too"

"What if I don't want to find them" Eddie says. "I mean no offense Bill but I don't want to end up like Geo-" he quickly stops himself from finishing his sentence and looks away "I don't want to go missing"

"He has a point" Stan says, defending Eddie

"Y-you too?" Bill asks, slightly disappointed with his friends not wanting to help

"It's summer!" Stan states "We're supposed to be having fun. This isn't fun" he sighs looking around the sewers "It's scary and disgusting"
