"Neibolt house" ______________________ ONE
Lacey hurriedly pedals down the road behind Bill to catch up to him. She couldn't let her own friend go into that horrid house alone. It just wasn't safe
As she stops outside of the home Lacey sees Bill about to open the door
"Bill! Wait!" Lacey shouts dropping her bike and running up to him
Bill slowly turns around to face Lacey, a look she couldn't quite determine plastered on his face
"If you're here to t-try and s-stop me it not g-gonna work" Bill shrugs
"I'm not going to stop you. I want to go with you. I think whatever happened to Georgie has to have happened to Melia. And all the other missing kids" Lacey sighs
Bill only nods and Lacey takes his gesture as an okay so she begins climbing to steps to where Bill is. The both give each other a brief nod before Bill reaches to open the door
"Fuck! Wait!" Richie shouts from behind the two. Dropping Eddies bike on the ground and racing to the end of the steps along with the others. Eddie looks at Richie and punches him in the arm for taking his bike, forcing Eddie to ride with someone else
"N-not again" Bill mutters under his breath causing Lacey to chuckle
"Look you guys don't have to come with us. Lacey you don't have to come with me either" Bill says, looking at his friends. "But what if another Georgie goes missing, or another Melia, or Betty? Or even one of us"
The group stood silent, listening to Bills words almost feeling as if they were being scolded by their parents
"Are you just going to ignore it like the rest of this town? Cause I cant. I go home everyday and see that Georgie isn't there. His toys, his clothes, his stupid stuffed animals" Bills voice wavers with sadness. "So walking into this house is easier than walking into my own"
"Wow" Richie murmurs. "He didn't stutter once"
Lacey glares at Richie who sheepishly smiles back
"I agree with Bill. We can't just keep ignoring it like it's going to go away. It took our siblings for fucks sake, any second it could take us too. The only way we can get closer to stopping this demonic asshole is going into this house" Lacey says, trying to encourage her friends to join them
The group looked at each other before beginning to head up the stairs, joining Bill and Lacey
"Lacey, what are you doing?" Richie pulls Lacey away from the door before she's able to open it
