Chapter 36

  Amelia's POV:
I woke up to the sound of nature, it was quite peaceful. I looked at my phone only to find 3 missed calls one from Lily, one from Ry, and one from Bran, I also seen I had over 30 texts asking me to please come back home, I just closed my phone ignoring everything and everyone for the time being. I climb out of the tree house and went down to the river and I walked into it and started swimming, I swam for a long time, until I seen a figure that looked like Lily walking past the river I quickly ducked into the river and swam underwater until I reached another thick part of woods, I then got out of the river and started walking some I came to another tree house that was higher up than the last one I was in, I climbed the ladder and I reached the inside, I then pulled the ladder up behind me and closed the door and locked it. I walked around the tree house to find that it had 8 different rooms to it there were 4 master bedrooms and 4 medium size bedrooms, the medium size bedrooms were still pretty big. I went into the 3rd master bedroom and laid on the bed.
I grabbed my phone and messaged Bran and told him I was fine but I was going to be gone for while. He messaged me back and said "Can we meet up somewhere at least?" I messaged him saying "Yeah I'll be at the park 3 miles from home meet me at 6 and come alone if you want to see me. I will know if you bring anyone." He messaged back saying okay. I laid back and waited til 5:30 and went and hid behind some bushes and waited. Bran finally showed up at 5:45 and was alone for the most part. I walked up to him and said "Follow me." We went into the woods and I brought him to the tree house I was originally hiding in and we climbed up to the tree house and went into the master bedroom and we sat down on the bed. "I'm so sorry for what my aunt said, that it was very uncalled for and I want you to know that Lily slapped her and yelled at her and told her that our mom never liked her and she could see why" Bran said I looked at him and said "None of your family will ever like me and that's a fact."
He looked at me and paused for a minute and said "I'm not engaged to my family, I'm engaged to you and they will just have to get over that now will you please put the ring back on your finger and come back home?" I looked at him and I could tell what his aunt had said really did hurt him and I said "Yes I will. I still love you and always will and I want to marry you still, I just thought what your aunt said was true and it is in all honesty." he looked at me like I was crazy and said "I better not ever hear you say that again, you are beautiful and I don't deserve some like you, you have been there for me through it all and I don't need some bitch to tell me that you are no good for me, because you are beyond good, you are wonderful. You are absolutely gorgeous at that." I looked at him and smiled and said "Thank you. That means a lot to me. " We then left the tree house and went back home and I got a hug from Lily and Ry and a big kiss from Bran. It felt good to be back home. I took a shower and got changed into and cuddled up to Bran and fell asleep in no time.
