Adara Artedon doesn't fit in. It doesn't matter whether she's in the world of humans, gods, or demigods - she simply doesn't fit in. You can hardly blame her, though - who wants to be friends with the ever powerful Adara? Somehow, despite everything, Artemis bore a single child. Not only is Adara the one-and-only daughter of Artemis, she's also the child of mighty Poseidon.
Adara doesn't know what she is. No one does. She's not a goddess - that'd be too merciful. No, somehow, she's still partly mortal, partly vulnerable. After all, gods don't have DNA.
But she finds a home in the wilderness - if it can be called a home when she stays in each forest for only a day, always moving. But she's okay with it; she's at home with animals - at least they don't judge her.
But everything goes to Hades when the demigods capture her and the truth comes out. Not only is Adara in danger, but so is Poseidon's other child - Percy.
Artemis may be sensible, but she has a taste for vengeance. And now they have to face her curse.
