Prompt:
Some people have a condition called Synesthesia, where their senses experience the world very differently. They may smell numbers or hear shapes.
Write a sensory poem about a color. You can use every sense to discuss and describe your color – except sight.
My Poem:
Title: purple
You are bitter and strong, yet wonderful,
like dark chocolate made by angels, bound to earth by love.
You are like smooth silk or velvet
made from the passion of things forbidden.
You whisper secrets to me in a voice sensual and deep,
yet still seem to be wraped in mystery.
Your aroma is old and dark,
attracting people like sin. The good kind.
