The house was more like a mansion, with high ceilings and multiple rooms. However wonderful this place was Piper thought the institute was better. After Alec and Izzy went to walk the promise and Magnus, simon and Camille talked about the pardon Piper made herself cozy in a plush arm chair in the corner.

"I'd love to stay, honestly my little caramel." Camille told Simon, her constant look of self-assurance resting on her face. "But I'd rather not." She chuckled walking out. "Don't miss me to much princess."

I scoffed following my eyes as I used my dagger in my boot to carve into the front of my bow. Using my thumb to move the shavings away before blowing on it. I had no idea what I was doing, the rune just came to me in my head. I had only gotten as far as a line but there was curves and corners to be drawn.

"Piper do you care to help?" Clary inquired, looking down from her ladder and I stuck the dagger in my boot, laying my bow on the chair.

"Of course dear sister." I groaned shuffling around the room and looking at the titles. Before coming to an idea. "Clary, simon get away from the bookshelves."

"What? Why?" Simon asked and I closed my eyes focusing on anything that emitted any type of magic or energy.

"Alec, my necklace?" Piper held out her hand for him. He looked worried, like her headaches might come back. Piper was nervous as well, but mostly sure that she could handle it now. "Any day now.."

"Fine, but you take it off when you're done." I nodded, letting him clasp it around my neck. Immediately I felt a splurge of energy, the necklace reacted to me, lighting up before the bolts of my swords shimmered at my side.

The power felt good, like she and it were combined. It sent shivered down her spine as she looked at the red energy sparking between her fingers. Magnus has been right, this amplified her powers by adding onto it.

There were multiple choices and I focused on clearing them one by one before sending the weight of heavy magic. "Found it." I muttered before raising my hands, eyes still closed before jolting them back, eyes opening. With a loud clutter all the books flew off he bookshelves and Clary looked horrified.

"Now we have a even harder time searching through the books." Simon exclaimed and Clary then crossed her arms disappointed.

"I thought hat would work." The blonde pouted and I looked around before grinning. Jogging to the shelf a single book stayed on the shelf, it was a cookbook.

"It did." I grinned carrying the book to the table and putting it down. "Clary hold this." I handed her my two swords and flipped through the book.

"Alright and the necklace?" Alex asked but piper brushed him off. Holding up her hand while she and clary spoke.

"Isn't that the book you and Mom make the soup from?" Clary asked and Simon sighed in delight.

"I love that soup, it's the best." He chuckled and I found the pages held apart by a piece of a bookmark.

"Is that-the bookmark." Clary placed it on the page and we watched the bookmark seal together before he pages rippled and showed the book of the white.

"Only problem..I can't read it." Clary groaned and I laughed.

"Clary that's because it's in purgatic, demon language. Thankful for me I can pick out a few words from my mother teaching me how to read it...along with Magnus...although I was very young." Clary closed he book on the book mark and held it in his arms as Magnus walked in.

"He's here." The man called and we all followed him into a large room. Against the wall a purple portal opened and men came out with swords pinning the glowing blades to Simon and Magnus's neck. Valentine appeared and a man with a sword cane at me but I held up my hands, red electricity sparking in them.
