My name is Clary, Clary Fray. I am a Junior at Idris High school and 17 years old. At home I live with my mom (Jocelyn) and my stepdad Luke, but I basically live with my best and only friend Simon. We have been best friends since he moved in the house next to mine. In the school I'm mostly known (if people notice me that is) as "the Artfreak" because I only draw in school and therefore only wore clothes with paint stains on it. I'm shy,introvert and in my opinion not pretty. I look the same as my mom only she is beautiful. Same fiery red curly hair and the same emerald green eyes. I'm so short that I'm often called 'sweet' and not 'hot' or 'sexy' as other girls. Simon looks like the typical geek- Nerd glasses, brown hair, brown eyes, a gamer shirt
Izzy or Isabelle is the typical popular girl who every guy wants to date, and somehow she and Simon got together. I have no idea how it happened...but I see how happy she makes Simon so I'm happy for him. And somehow she also became my friend on the way. Izzy has two older brothers, Alec and Jace Lightwood. Alec is a shy guy but very protective of his Sister and his boyfriend Magnus, I think they have been together for 2 years now. And Jace was one of the most handsome guy in the whole school, but if you ask me the most handsome guy of the world. He is popular, captain of the football team and of course he's a player. And of course I have to fall for Jace Lightwood of all people. I mean we are complete different from our state in the school to our looks. So yeah thats me and my life...not so interesting right? well that will sure change soon...
