I brushed my hair, my hair is more tamed then 4th-grade Rhya helped along with a lot of things, I miss her here. If only mom and dad accepted her, Ike misses her most but he and I are getting to see her and Stan sing. I've been wanting to know what he's been keeping this song secret, I put on my coat and walked down to see Ike ready, dad was driving us mom is at work thankfully. "Dad since mom's not here, do you really hate Rhya for being who she is?" I asked worriedly. we walked to the car Ike got in the back, he sighed.
"I... don't know, Torah said that those who love someone of the same gender would be punished, but she's part of a family and family is supposed to love each other no matter what," he said starting the car.
"but the lord is supposed to love us no madder what, so are we people like Rhya have been afraid to come out for years but times have changed because they know they shouldn't hide who they are anymore," I said. I should really take my own advice and just say that I'm gay, I'm too much of a coward.
we reached the School and I undone my seat belt and got out of the car, "I promised Stan I'll meet up with him before the show started I'll meet you in the gym," I said and I found Stan in the hallway that never gets used.
"you made it," Stan said with a smile and I wrapped my arms around his neck, he put his arms around my waist and we kissed, I put my fingers through his hair and we parted. "happy anniversary babe," he said.
"happy anniversary," I said and I couldn't stop smiling.
"Hey sorry to interrupt the moment, but the show is about to start and we're act number 11 out of 19," I heard Rhya say. I let one arm off of Stan enough for me to turn to see her, "one last kiss or hug before we have to get in there," she said and had a smile on her face before she walked away. I turned and put my hand on his cheek and kissed his lips and parted. we walked in the gym and saw Ike and dad sitting in the 3rd row. I sat in between Ike and Bebe, most of the acts were ok few had me worried because I wanted Rhya and Stan to win.
they came on stage and I smiled, the song started and Rhya sang first.
