I shivered as the wind blew against my back, I shifted little bit a slowly began to fall asleep. the wind blew again making me sneeze, I slowly opened my eyes and quickly realized something 'where's Kola?' I looked around the den it was empty 'and Kozy?' I slowly stood up and limped towards the exit of the den.
My right paw wasn't fully healed yet, and I softly whimpered as I tried to walk with it. I looked outside and smiled, Kozy and Kola were talking outside under the stars. I slowly walked towards them "Kola, Kozy? what are you doing?" I asked as laid next to Kola, Kozy looked at me and smiled "we're just talking about how we got to the Outlands" he said as he looked at the stars
I smiled back at Kozy " Kozy how did get to the Outlands, anyway?" I asked him "well, when I still lived with my pride. my mother died giving birth to me and my sister, so we stayed with our aunt and her cubs" he said as he laid his head on the ground " It was like normal day, until two males from another pride entered the territory and killed my father. my aunt tried very best to protect us from the males but..." Kozy paused, I looked at Kozy my face full of worry
"...Kozy you don't have to if--" Kozy quickly cut Kola off " I'm going to bed" Kozy said as he walked back into the den, Kola sighed and looked down at the ground
