Chapter 7

Louise's POV

I couldn't stop thinking about yesterday evening when Shawn kissed me. When he left, I immediately had the urge to tell someone because all my feelings and emotions kept building up inside me. I picked up my phone from the kitchen table, removed my charger from my phone and ran upstairs. I searched for my best friend, Hazel's number in my contacts and called her. It was 2 rings until she answered,

"Heyyy! How's it going bae?" Hazel says quite loudly down the phone

"I'm so amazing right now, literally my heart is beating faster than a car on the motor way"

"Omg, tell me tell me! What happen?"

I paused for a bit and smiled to myself.

"Louise? Hello?"

"Oh hi" I said as I snapped out of my thoughts

"So are you gonna tell me what happened or..?" Hazel asked in a more serious voice

"Oh yeah right um.. Shawn's family came round this evening cause my dad wanted to meet his parents and they were all talking and seemed to be getting on well. Anyways, I took Shawn to my room and we-" I think Hazel knew what I the answer was so she said it for me

"Omg omg you kissed didn't you?" I knew she was smiling even though we were on the phone

"Yes. I don't know how long it was but it seemed like we were kissing for ages and ages."

"That's so cute, hope you two start dating" Hazel replied, giggling.

Hazel's POV

It was really cute how Louise rung me up saying that she kissed Shawn. I always noticed that he kept staring at her when we were all sitting down in the dining hall at lunch, but it wasn't a creepy stare it was more like a daydream kind of stare.

At that moment I knew Shawn obviously liked Louise. So I wasn't really surprise that they kissed.

I've never really had a proper boyfriend, I feel like I'm always gonna be forever alone when I see couples holding hands down the hallway at school. But I am crushing on someone at the moment. Someone who I've known for ages but I don't want to ruin our friendship if I do go out with them..

I don't even know whether they like me or not but I'll never know until I ask or they do. I haven't told anyone about them cause I don't trust anyone.. Well apart from Louise. She is my best friend, but I feel like if I tell her she might not take it seriously.

I went upstairs and jumped on my bed, laying down on my tummy and grabbed my phone off my duvet. I had been thinking of telling Louise my crush, I started to have a small debate with myself whether I should or not. I closed my eyes and just thought to myself, I need to tell someone and went with my instincts.

I called Louise and she answered straight away.

"Hey Hazel, you alright?"

"Hi and yeah.." My voice kind of fading away and Louise noticed

"Don't lie to me, Hazel seriously what's wrong? You can tell me anything don't be afraid or embarrassed"

She's right. I think to myself. Best friends don't hide things away from each other, they're always honest and share their emotions and feelings.

"I have to tell you something but I want you to take it seriously and not think it's some joke because it isn't" I say in my most serious voice

"Okay I promise just tell me" she sounded like she just wanted me to hurry up and tell her so I did

"I have a crush on someone. And it's been a long time, but I don't want to ruin my friendship with him"

"Just tell me who he is already" Louise says impatiently

"Juan" I say quietly

"Omg, really!!" Louise sounded excited, I didn't expect her to act like that. But I guess I thought wrong..

"Yeah really" I felt really embarrassed, then I hear a faint voice in the back round

"Sorry, got to go downstairs to have dinner. I'll see you at school kay?" and she hung up.

Sorry I didn't update it yesterday but i'll be updating chatper 8 and 9 today and maybe 10 and 11 ect
