PIDGE steps to the side, revealing KEITH and Y/N, who are both holding swords. KEITH is holding the red bayard and is wearing his red armor. Y/N has Keith's purple blade in her hand and is wearing purple armor. KEITH and Y/N have their helmets resting against their hips. Y/N gives a two-fingered salute and winks at the camera. KEITH just stares at it.
PIDGE This competition, for the best swordsman, follows a more traditional format. There will be three stages in this half. First, Keith and Y/n will fight against each other. Then, the two will team up against the robots like we did when all of us, except Y/n, met. Finally, the two will go against the rest of us.
Y/N leans forward and whispers something in PIDGE's ear.
PIDGE Okay, good point. We will not be including the footage from the first half because there was a bunch of swearing involved after the droids started spouting cheesy pick-up lines recorded by Lance.
Y/N ...That was a long sentence.
KEITH nods in agreement.
PIDGE To the first competition!
KEITH and Y/N pull on their helmets. Y/N points her blade at him and smirks.
Y/N You ready, loser?
KEITH laughs.
KEITH I haven't lost yet.
Y/N But you will.
PIDGE You guys ready?
Y/N Actually, I know we're wearing the armor, but to prevent decapitation, are you sure we should be using swords?
PIDGE Good point.
PIDGE snaps her fingers. Two silver staffs fall from open slots in the ceiling. KEITH and Y/N shrink their swords and throw them to the side before they catch the staffs. The ends glow a bright turquoise
