To John/Alex: What are your favorite things about each other?

John: Hmm... I'd like to say his passion, but if we're doing it appearance-wise, I'm going with the sparkle in his eyes when he does something he loves

Alex: His perseverance is adorable and so are the freckles in such obscure places

To Peggy: When will you marry Maria?

Peggy: Well, she still hasn't popped the question, but luckily she's awful at hiding things from me so I'm 100% sure it's coming soon

To Alex: Are things till awkward between you and GWash?

Alex: Not as much, thankfully. I'm sure he just came to expect it from us. Being honest, I'm sure things are worse for John than for me

John: Don't remind me

To John: So John, how long have you loved alexander? like had you seen him around campus before and were like "dang he's hot "?

John: Well, I remember seeing him the first week of class and thinking probably those exact words.

Peggy: His actual reaction was "Dang, I'd hit that."

To Maria: Are you and Peggy married yet?

Maria: No... But I have a ring and everything! I'm just waiting for a good moment to pop the question

To Lafayette: PLEASE TELL ME YOU WERENT GONNA KILL ONE OF THEM WHEN YOU FOUND OUT THEY WERE DATING

Lafayette: Kill? Non! Horribly maim John Laurens for not keeping it from me? Perhaps...

To Alex: CHILDREN?

Alex: We're actually looking into adopting a baby girl named Frances, but until that happens, we consider John's students as our kids

To Theodosia: You weren't really in this story, what was going on with you?

Theodosia: Nothing much actually. I'm working to get a degree in the business field so one day I can be the CEO of my own company. Other than schoolwork and visiting family, I've spent the remainder of my time with my lovely boyfriend

Burr: Yeah, I'm surprised she's mine too

To Alex: How did John propose to you?

Alex: Ooh! This is my favorite story to tell!
Okay so we were at one of his father's Christmas parties. Actually, it was the first one he had been to in years, but anyway, after dinner his father proposed a toast saying how lucky he was to have us there. Then he passed the attention over to John, who starts going on about our relationship and how much he loves me then he just knelt down and asked me!

John: I don't think I've ever seen you cry that much except later at our wedding

Alex: It was just seasonal allergies!

To John: How did Laf react to the engagement?

John: I'm not gonna go into too much detail, but they locked me in a closet for three hours and I got out with a black eye

To Alex: Did John ever find out about the kiss?

Alex: Actually no, so let's not mention-

John: What now?

To Hercules: Relationship status with Laf?

Hercules: I'm proud to say we've been happily married for two years now!

To Lafayette: What is your sexuality?

Lafayette: I identify as a non binary queer person, just so I don't have to mess with all the labels and such

To GWash: Weirdest thing you've ever walked in on with John and Alex?

Gwash: Nothing too awful, except one time John called me in to help untie Alexander from a bedpost. I had no idea why he was tied to the bed, nor would I like to know...

To Martha: Have YOU ever walked in on Alex and John?

Martha: You haven't lived a full life if you've never walked in on your son and his boyfriend doing it on the kitchen floor, getting flour or sugar everywhere. Last time I ever ask them to make Christmas cookies

To Lafayette: How'd you react to the engagement?

Lafayette: Pretty well! I was very happy for my brother and best friend!

John: You locked me in a closet!

Lafayette: If you don't shut up I'll do it again!

To Lafayette: Has John ever revealed anything s p i c y to you when he was drunk?

Lafayette: Non, but he did decide it was okay to mimic Alexandre's orgasm noises in an Uber once

To Jefferson: What's up with you and Madison?

Jefferson: We broke up a little after he found out about the kiss and my little crush on Hamilton, but we talked it through over the summer and got back together. Five years later and now we've recently been engaged

John: What kiss?

To Lafayette: Did you ever blow up at John and Alex for something similar?

Lafayette: I'm actually a pretty calm person, and it only happened once!

Alex: That's funny. John, would you like to do the honors?

John: Of course! Once they walked in on Alex and me using handcuffs during sex so they grabbed the key and took them off of Alex. Let me remind you we were naked! After that they threw some pants at me so I put them on. They pulled me outside of our apartment at the time and cuffed me to a pole. Trust me, those things were far to strong to be sold in a sex shop!

To Meghan: How did you find inspiration for this story?

At first I just loved the idea for the texting au from reading some different things (let me tell you, the person you are messaging probably isn't in the dorm next to you like i've read in one fic) but to make sure they didn't find each other "by chance" I had Peggy meddle in John's love life because she would do that. As for the whole keeping it from Lafayette, that was modeled off of the first half of season 5 of Friends

To Meghan: Will you ever continue to write in this au? (Like oneshots or a sequel)

Eh, no sequel because the point I left it at was too good. As for oneshots, I might do a bonus chapter if you guys want.
Just like comment if you want a bonus chapter (it will probably be of the engagement and maybe Laf reacting to it?)
