Kick Ass In The Exams! (12)

Miyako's POV

Doing a twirl, my feet twisted the rug around my bare foot. This resulted in me landing on the floor. I just stared at the bare ceiling. Man, there's nothing to do. I could call fairytail, everyone's probably on a mission, lucky. That reminds me, The Chunin exams. What am I going to do? I don't know any fancy jutsu, I can do bare minimum at best. I sighed deeply. 

My thoughts were cut off by a demanding knock on my door, who the heck is that? I picked my self off the floor and wandered over to the door. I was greeted by two unfamiliar faces, a guy and girl to be precise. "Hello?" I asked. The girl looked up, her vermillion eyes meeting my blue. Her voice was confident and demanding as she spoke, "Are you Miyako Strauss?" I nodded, leaning against the door, "I'm Aina Hoshi and this is Naoki Yori, we are your new team mates for the Chunin exams." I was confused, I'm apart of team 7. "What do you mean, I have a team?" I asked. She sighed then responded to my question, "You're only allowed teams of 3, not 4. One of our team mates moved so now we need another to participate. It's not a permeant replacement, why would we want a person a year younger on team?" Way to sugarcoat it jeez. I looked at the two of them. I stepped out of the doorframe and asked them if they wanted to come in.

I placed two tea's on the table and grabbed my own from the kitchen. The two thanked me. "So, are we going to train or get to know each other or something?" I asked. I could see in the reflection of their pupils that they were looking around the room and judging it, or complementing it. For the first time Naoki spoke, "Urm, we could get to know each other here, then train later." His voice was much quieter and it wasn't hard to tell he was more introverted. 

I took a small sip of my tea as Aina introduced herself, "I'm Aina Hoshi, I like training and my boyfriend. I don't like skank's who flirt with my boyfriend. I'm better than you, you should fear me. Aspire to be me." Mavis, she really likes this boy of hers, huh? Almost feel bad for the guy. I had some more tea as Naoki introduced himself, "I'm Naoki, I like to draw, I like my team and I really like my girlfriend, Aina." Tea dribbled down my chin as I fought back the urge to spit my tea out, these two? I know they say opposites attract and everything, but this is next level. After my dribble fest he continued, "I don't really not like anything. I hope we get along." He gave a sweet smile. I could feel my female team mates piercing gaze. I went next, "I'm Miyako, I like chocolate, friends and my family. I don't like egotistic, narcissistic people or fangirls. I hope we kick ass in the exams!" I gave off a toothy grin.

After my introduction, we headed to the training ground, me and Aina were going to spar. I fiddled with the handcuffs on me, I could still do everything I used to be able to, except my magic. They block my magic, the button to release the cuffs are in the hands of the old man and Kakashi. I slapped my cheeks and faced her.

Third Persons POV

Aina had a little plan of her own. She wanted to make a little bet."Miyako, how do you feel when I   say lets have a little wager?" She asked. Miyako thought for a second before replying, "What do you have in mind?" Aina smiled slyly, "Nothing big, just for the first two exams the loser has to do what ever the winner wants." Miyako thought for a second again before a smirk of her own arose, "Seems innocent enough, sure." They prepared to fight, a very nervous Naoki observing.

Miyako attacked first, her fist ready to make contact with Aina's abdomen, Aina sidestepped to the right, her left hand outstretched, hitting our protagonist in the face. Miyako grabbed her nose and turned around, only to be met by a foot. Quickly lying flat onto her back, she dodged the attack, while Aina regained her balance after not hitting anything, Miyako jumped into the air. When Aina turned round, a foot made contact with her torso. The two regained balance, staring each other down. Aina quickly formed some hand signs and whispered the name of the jutsu. Unsure of what jutsu was going to happen, Miyako kept her guard up. Suddenly, pillars of dirt shot out of the ground, she dodged them. When her feet landed on one of the pillars, they retracted back into the ground. Miyako flailed in the air as she fell, when on the ground, Aina sat on her, kunai at her neck.

"I win." Aina said, her eyes looked so proud. "Yeah, you did, congrats." Miyako said. Aina stood up and began to walk away, as she did she stated, "I hope you're ready for the exams." Naoki said goodbye then followed suit after his girlfriend. Miyako sat staring at the clouds, her eye stinging. She knew she'd have a black eye tomorrow. 

After a couple of minutes, Miyako sat her self up. She wasn't even mad about the loss, Aina was good, and she knew better jutsu's. Miyako stepped into the library. Walking to an isle full of scrolls she began to read, hoping to find some useful jutsu.

Temari's POV

I was bored, with nothing to do, I walked around the village. Everything and everyone was so different from the people at the sand. I looked at an old library, through the window I could see the white haired girl from yesterday, she was engrossed in a scroll. A black eye was beginning develop. She seemed nice, maybe while I'm here I can make one friend. I went into a store and bought an ice pack, I walked into the library and went to where the girl was. I placed the ice pack on the table snapping her out of the book. She looked at me then the ice pack. Smiling, she picked it up and placed it on her eye. "Thanks." She said, the grin still present. "It was nothing, I'm Temari, I was there yesterday with my brothers." She looked surprised after I said that. She responded, "They were your brothers?" I laughed, "Yeah, unfortunately." She laughed along with me, she met my eye and introduced herself, "I'm Miyako, Miyako Strauss."

WOAH, TWO UPDATES IN A WEEK, MUST BE CHRISTMAS, OH WAIT THAT'S MONDAY. I hope you all have a nice christmas. Love you all, BAiaiii.
