One shots Kylo Ren

#12 Complicated Relationships

You were sitting in the middle of your bed floating around 6 glasses in a circle as the front door slid open, 

"Time to go were needed on the bridge" Commander Ren shouted

you didn't reply and he let out a sigh of frustration walking into your room watching you concentrate

"Y/N stop messing around," he continued pronouncing each syllable of each word as if you were a toddler,

"We. Need. To. Go."

you opened your eyes staring into his with a blank expression and dropped all six glasses on the floor and he flinched furrowing his brows.

"then what are we waiting for" you said with a solemn tone not expressing any emotion of any kind. You got up from your bed putting your hair in a pony tail while walking out the door.

He stood in your room a moment longer looking at all the broken glass and controlled the shards to group up into a little pile so that it would be easier to clean up later and then walked out the door closing it behind him. You hadn't waited for him but you weren't a fast walker either. He followed your steps and within a few minutes he was walking beside you.

You kept your focus straight ahead not wanting to talk to him or anyone else.  Although,  you managed small smiles to staff members who said hello to you when you were both walking to this summoning. General Hux stood in the middle of the bridge, you always thought he looked misplaced because of how pale he was and his bright hair color. Ren always smirked when you thought about Hux because it was never good thoughts and he felt the same way. Hux was aware of your arrival as people begun to salute you both,

"Commander and Vice Admiral you are to oversee preparations for ground assaults in tomorrow's attack on the rebel base, 3 of our Captains are on their way up to discuss tactics based on the terrain of the planet, however, Commander Ren if you are needed elsewhere I believe Vice Admiral L/N is overly capable of this meeting" Hux stated eagerly because he hated Ren and supposedly enjoyed your company.

"I agree General however, I'll stay" Ren replied

"Fine do as you wish,"

you were facing the window looking out into the vast horizon of nothing but stars and darkness, but shifted after hearing your name from Hux

"Vice Admiral may I have a word"

you nodded

Ren looked at you rather curiously he knew you weren't a big talker but you weren't one to not voice your opinion either. After watching you exit the bridge with Hux Ren took the General's place in the center of the bridge overseeing operations.

You followed Hux off of the bridge and into the hallway where he then turned to face you,

"If Ren gives you any problems tell me, honestly I think you're a far more valuable asset than he is to the First Order because he often just goes off in a tantrum and break things apart. So if you need me to get rid of him I can, Ok?" Hux said sincerely

"Ok Hux" you replied with a smile.

He nodded in approval of the conversation we just had and motioned to go back in to meet Ren.

You walked slower than Hux did not wanting to go back just yet, you just wanted some peace and quiet because everyday in Starkiller Base was a constant reminder of someone trying to kill someone else. You wanted to contemplate what had just occurred.

Why couldn't he have just pulled me to the side like really you brought me out of the main bridge to tell me you can get rid of a man I work with all the time.

Seriously Hux I can get rid of people too.

I'm not a toddler thanks for the news flash.

Ren turned around looking to Hux and noticed you weren't behind him, so he waited facing the doorway for about a minute until he saw you come in the door. He was relieved to see you but after reading through all your thoughts he was a little confused as to what Hux had to say.

After about five minutes of your silence and Hux's ranting to the crew and Kylo's irritated facial expressions towards Hux the Captains finally arrived. The Captains greeted you both along with the General and then sat down at a table.  You sat at the head of the table and Ren stood behind your chair because you were better at these meetings than he was and the Captains liked you better anyways, everyone did. Ren watched you through the entire meeting and was pleased to hear how innovative you were when it came to planning maneuvers in battles.

The meeting ended and everyone was dismissed.

You were headed to the door with Ren close behind you but were stopped when you heard your name,

"Vice Admiral L/N"

you turned to face Hux as Ren also stopped waiting for you

"I intend to see you again this evening for the banquet"

What banquet

you looked to Ren with a confused look and thought to him

there's a banquet tonight

He thought back

yes I'm going it's required for high ranking officials

and I made the list you questioned with a funny expression

you're practically the female version of Hux he challenged trying not to laugh

I'm gonna take that as a compliment you replied slowly

Good he finished

you turned back to Hux and replied with a small smile

"Certainly"

Hux nodded with a small wave and you turned back around continuing down the hallway with Ren at your side.

You reached your door but didn't open it

"Are you going to go in" he asked you as you stared at the door

He read your thoughts but you resisted and opened the door he hesitated at first but followed you in close pursuit pushing himself back into your mind. Then you Cut off all your thoughts because and shifted your gaze to the ground back to all the glass.

"I'll get someone to clean that up" he said

"I don't need your help" you said

"Why do you shut me out" he pushed into your mind again and this time his voice echoed through your mind giving you chills

talk to me

He was in control of your everything but you fought back

"leave" you conjured up

"No" he said sternly

You turned around to face him and he was closer than you intended causing you to take a step back.

"I'm your boss, your ally, your mentor and your protection"

"I don't need protection and I don't like you very much"

"It's gonna be hard for me to win you over knowing what you think of the General of this fleet"

you bit back a smile he looked into your eyes taking a step towards you again

"so you'll go to the banquet with me tonight" he replied cheekily

"No" you stated.

"Good I'll pick you up at 8," he practically sang as he let himself out.
