Jonghyun gave us more than his music before he left us, he also departed many words of wisdom.
For many K-Pop fans, Jonghyun was the first artist they really fell in love with. He was an incredible singer, an unmatched songwriter and had the most genuine personality imaginable.
Jonghyun once said, "different doesn't mean wrong", when showing his support for minorities in Korea. He was an inspiration for fellow artists, represented hope and showed unconditional love for those who looked up to him.
His impact on K-Pop cannot be understated. For nearly 10 years, Jonghyun (with his group SHINee) continued to create beautiful music, tour around the world and win multiple awards. He was a one-of-a-kind artist and will no doubt continue to inspire millions of people around the world.
