It was a calm and relaxing night, the moon was bright and full, the stars, as usual, gave off that familiar twinkling glow, and every being in the household was fast asleep. You wouldn't expect anything to be happening on a night like this, now would you? Just a little girl and her mother, living their lives as best as they could, as best as the mother could make it for them.

She was a single, loving and caring mother, she worked so hard, every single day to support her child so that nothing would happen to her. Her father had left a long time ago...four years ago on her birthday to be exact. But, they didn't know where he had gone, or why he had left. She thought that he loved her, that she had finally found the man of her dreams...even if he was from galaxies away. But...just as luck would have it she was wrong again, it didn't matter though however, she had all of the happiness she needed already with her.

Her daughter.

She was the light of her life. She was all the mother needed to be happy, and the mother was all she needed to be happy. It was like a loop between the two, one could not survive without the other. They were inseparable...that is until tonight.

December 18

Everything was quiet, everything was at peace, everything was fine. Fine until they had shown up! Fine until he had shown up! Fine until they all ruined it! It all played out like a flash of light, they were in and then they were back out. And to nowhere they knew where they were, everything was all black with the exception of a few white dots out the window. She was crying and the mother was trying her best to console the child, but to no avail when they had stripped them away from each other. There was screaming, crying and yelling. No soul onboard could not possibly haven't heard what had just happened.

The separation of a mother and daughter.

Tears lined both of their features, their eyes became all red and puffy due to the salty liquid invading their optics. The mother tried to break free from them but couldn't, but the child was already gone and out of her sight.

"No!" She cried loudly, yet tiredly as she sunk to her knees and pushed both of her hands onto her red face. She was then violently yanked back by the shoulder by one of the guards again but, this time she forced herself out of their grasp and began running to where she had seen her daughter last. However, that didn't last long as a wave of relentless electricity coursed itself through her body. She yelled out a blood-curdling scream, piercing the ears around her and fell lifelessly towards the floor. As one of them moved closer towards the mother they noticed that her eyes were still bloodshot and yet the specimen wasn't moving an inch.

"Did you...kill it?" One of them asked casually as the other flipped her lifeless body over.

"No, you idiot, I simply put her in shock." A woman with a raspy voice exclaimed at the two beings in front of her.

"Take her to the cells, I'll take care of the spawn." The woman, whom had long white hair and adorned a dark cloak said to the others as she began to take her leave. The two other beings look at each other for a brief moment then shrugged their shoulders. One of them then picks up the mother, slinging her over their shoulder without a care and making their way down to the cells.

"Zesua...you idiot." The other muttered quietly then slowly followed behind the other being from behind.

As the two guards took care of the mother, the woman with a hunched back, long white hair and glowing yellow eyes made her way down to the holding area of 'the spawn' as she liked to call the young girl. The piece of metal separating the young girl from the hunched woman eventually slid open to reveal the young girl chained and cowering on the floor. The woman closed the door completely behind her and loomed over the girl with malice in her eyes. The very sight of 'this thing' in front of her disgusted her, it unhinged her...yet, it intrigued her at the same time. 'This thing'  had potential, and a lot of it too...it was just a matter of time until that potential was set free.

As the woman was looming over her, all she could feel at the moment was distress and anxiousness. She didn't even know what those emotions meant, as she was too young to understand them at the time. The young girl was only four years old, how was she supposed to know what they meant?! Everything was dark at the time, the room that had held the young girl was only illuminated with a dim purple light lining the walls.

"In time-" The woman interjected out of nowhere,
"In time you will come to understand." She vaguely exclaimed then walked out of the room, leaving the crying girl alone with her thoughts. She wept effortlessly into her small hands and curled up into a small ball in the corner, waiting for...whatever was supposed to happen next.

"I'm sorry..." She mumbled with a hoarse breath to herself.
