"We're just a few dobashes away from Espore," Coran announced to the team. His gloved fingers retracted from the glowing control panel and he soon turned his whole body to face everybody else in the room.
Just beyond the beings in the Altean ship was the planet Espore, of which all of them have been waiting to see. The exterior of the planet held a light purple hue; beautiful silver rings circled the inner planet and just outside its atmosphere were two imposing silver moons. Espore was also surrounded by many other uninhabited planets, some with rings and some without. Espore's defenses were on high security and many fighter ships immediately put a halt to the Princess' ship. The next moment after that a man, presumably a soldier for Espore had sent a radio call to the castles system.
"State you're business." He demanded in a daunting tone. His exterior seemed rough and course, however, (Y/n) knew that his looks were deceiving.
"It's okay Hazel, they're with me." Immediately the man's laser-red eyes went wide as soon as he recognized the girl's figure. He smiled wide, he thought he would never see her ever again.
"(Y-Y/n)? I can't believe it's you!" The girl he was talking to, mirrored his elated expression. She too was happy to see him again,
"What are you doing here?" He asked hesitantly.
The girl stifled a small chuckle before answering his question,
"Why don't you let us pass first, and make this whole reunion a little easier." She said with a playful attitude. The older man's smile faltered a bit, becoming a bit more awkward with its presentation. All the while everyone else in the room held a somewhat neutral expression.
"Right! My bad, I'll see you when you land." He exclaimed and soon the ships that were surrounding the castle-ship had dispersed and positioned themselves back in a formal order. The call was short, but the conversation would be picked back up soon. Allura smiled and placed her hands on the stirring of the ship. Seeing the planet physically began to change Allura's stagnant view on the expedition, however, not completely.
The ship soon entered Espore's atmosphere and now all they were looking for was a place to land.
"Over there, Allura." (Y/n) instructed while pointing down at the planet's surface.
"Whoa!" Pidge exclaimed in wonderment as she looked out the windows of the ship. She had never laid eyes on a sight like this.
"This is incredible!" Hunk exclaimed. At this point, everyone was looking out the window's to take in the sights just below them. Espore's advanced technology was all over the surface; the sky was a luminous shade of purple during its day, you could see the surrounding planets in the purpled hued sky, there were many ships that took up the air in Espore's atmosphere and almost everything about the place looked clean and untouched.
The ship had soon landed, and practically everyone onboard just couldn't wait until they met with the planet's surface. Of course, (Y/n) was the first to exit with the five Paladins following her closely behind. She ran down the pathway of the shipyard until she had met up with Hazel. She jumped into his arms, giving him a bear hug and began relishing at the moment.
"It's so good to see you again!" (Y/n) said to him.
"Same here," The red-eyed man exhaled as he began pulling away from the young girl,
"Where have you been this whole time?" The girl in front of him shrugged her shoulders and smiled in an awkward manner.
"Eh, you know...around." She vaguely explained.
"How come you didn't come back sooner? When I found out you didn't come back after that mission with Ryker, I actually got worried." He said.
"Yeah, well...I needed some time alone-"
"I'm...actually kinda glad you weren't here when Ryker had returned. I knew the kid was dealing with some issues but...man, when he got back he just lost it," Hazel explained. (Y/n) bit her lower lip, imagining the worst of what may have happened that day. Hazel sighed as he remembered what went down that day. He immediately shook his head, however, to shake those thoughts away and placed his hand on the girl's right shoulder,
"It doesn't matter anyway...I'm just glad you're safe." His smile soon returned.
